Yeah that. Some similar shit here. It was "I was born from pain and I never had a chance in hell to be anything but this family disease" that got me crying. Tough week. I can't even listen to some songs. Too painful. Fuck generational trauma. Fuck CPTSD. Senses fail is one of the major things that helps me cope through this nightmare. I've been in trauma therapy for a year and a half. Barely scratched the surface but it's very helpful. Found my amazing therapist on psychology today using their search/filters. Her expertise could've easily just been a list of the first 30 years of my life. Hardest thing I've ever done. But it also feels worth it.
