I hope that whoever buys the sacred heart embroidery, takes it to a good frame shop to have the cardboard removed! It needs acid free backing to protect it. And they can make an envelope on the back for the inscription. 😊

I love everything you got today,Jocelyn and like you said, the ‘70 vibe! I was born in 1956 so I could really feel it too and it made me smile and feel happy.I so love the time I grew up,also being a bit of a hippie, walking around in Amsterdam barefoot,in a long gypsy skirt with a tied up white blouse and a belt with little bells around my bare belly..lots of bracelets and a beaded necklace, and long curly hair(because I washed it and had it dry in a braid😁).That time was unbelievable…and I was so lucky to live it.🥰

Harker Pate Sur Pate... was my folks' good china - so growing up, I ate all my holiday meals on that! They had the grey, but also several pieces in a lime green shade. It was produced in many colors.

I have that Avon Easter tray with matching candle sticks and candy dish. My mom gave them to me when I first got married 28 years ago. I still love pulling it all out at Easter. I have a friend who her mother-in-law gave it to her when she first got married around the same time and she always pulls it out at Easter as well. We get such a kick that we both have it. There is also a 2 tier desert plate that goes with it. The detail is actually really well done and it does look like it could F&F.

Oh my gosh, I would have killed for those parrots! Those chips are repairable. And the Sacred Heart?!! I have one almost exactly like that - probably from the 30's too, except it is painted on silk. Has always given me a vibe that it was painted by a nun.....but who knows? It was $5 at the GW and it is actually one of my most prized possessions. It carries so much emotion.

The cement in the figurine reminds me of the old ways that the traveling tinkers would fix things - with whatever they had in their wagons. If you ever find old pieces with very strange repairs - they are tinker pieces and they are collectable. I have seen some very strange and fun repairs.

That piece you are keeping with the cement blocking the inside. If it's not worth a whole lot and you aren't real attached, I think I would chisel that out and see what's hidden inside. I saw a man's ring once, that someone had poured like lead over the whole top of it and covered it up. It wasn't wearable, so the guy melted the lead off and underneath was a beautiful 18 ct. gold ring with a diamond. Let us know if you find anything in there!
