Make another version Ask Chinese women about Malay guy
I'm chinese. I rarely talk to Malay before I entering to University because my bm was poor. But after entering University, I met an Islam friend, he is Bajau, and he's very friendly to talk to, he knows my bm is not good, but he's willing to teach me speak malay fluently with patient, and then we became good friend, we even shared and exchange about our culture knowledge, he shared about Islam knowledge to me and I shared mine too. And when my bm starts to get well, I'm more confident and comfortable to speak to malay, I also have 2 close malay friends in University where we hangouts a lot from the very beginning until we graduate. We could talk about any topics, even is sensitive issues (racism and religion issues and etc.), we're still willing to talk to because we want to make it works between our religious and we don't want to have misconceptions or misunderstandings towards each other religious and culture. And so I really appreciate to have such friendship!

Hello, I'am a Malaysian Malay Muslim man age 33, stay at Taman Pelangi, 80400, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, I would like to say that at Kuala Lumpur, most of the Malay and Chinese are not quite respect to each other because of race and religious problem, but in Singapore mostly all of them respect each other, even myself have been to Singapore, they are also friendly to me, that's why I have already told some our Malaysian who are going to visit Singapore, try to behave well and good habit, don't do like you leave in Kuala Lumpur, never mind, because is freedom for all, including the illegal immigrant who are impolite to the local, also can do what they like including criminal. That"s all thank you!

Wow that's cool. Bagus nya. Cuma kenapa byk dlm video ni yang menggadaikan soal agama dlm hal ni. No it's not about racism, sebagai Muslim, dia kena consider agama dlu. Yang kata dia kena revert ke Islam dlu tu okay la. Tapi yang kata "religion is not important" , itu tak patut la bagi seorang muslim. Skin colour or race has nothing to do, but faith is a different thing. Muslims don't only think about worldly life, they should think about hereafter (akhirat) too.

I have been married to a Chinese guy for years. Wouldn't know the difference because I have never been in a relationship with anybody else prior to him. I have never considered race an issue at all. It's everything else that humans bundle up with being from a certain background. We are human beings first and foremost. Everything after birth is up to us to choose, what kind of person we want to be , what path we go through in life, who we end up with, etc. True, born Muslims can't change theirs religion in this country. I have a lot to say about that, but I won't do it here. Race has nothing to do with how a human turns out, upbringing and personality do. I would like to have more conversations about these issues but Malaysians, even today, even young ones seems so against facing truths and realities. Instead, religion is always used as shield. Wish there were more intellectuals like Prof Ungku Aziz who would be open to talk about any topics under the sun. Gonna miss that guy. RIP.

Dah habis blajar skolah menengah. Dia slalu contact saya difacebook. Dia cakap dia "rindu" saya. 😊 jadi.. Dia ajak makan2 kfc dan byk kali juga laa lepak dgn dia sblum masuk u. Bila dh msuk u wlaupun berlainan pon msih contact. Dan penghujung degree. Dia ckp. Dia nak saya kawin dgn dia.. Dia sudi revert agama Islam.. Sy fikir panjang waktu tu. Jujur saya pon rasa suka juga kat dia. Tapi sy ckp.. Fikir betul2 dlu. Sbb saya risaukan hubungan dia dan family dia.. Rsau tak restu bila dia revert. 😊 ye lah kan. Bab agama x boleh paksa. Tapi dia sudi tu syukur.. Cuma mcm kita tahu.. Bab keluarga tu yg nanti kita rsau kan dia... Rsau putus hubungan dia dan family..Rupanya mama dan daddy dia setuju.. X sgka slama skolah hingga sekarang dia slalu cerita kat family dia psl saya. Dia cerita smua yg saya ajar dia di skolah dan sbgainya.. Saya pon berjunpa family dia. Family dia sgt respect agama islam dan masa makan2 pon dihidangkan yang halal2.. Alhamdulillah. Skang. Dia. Sofia Ilyana Chin binti Abdullah. Sah isteri saya. Dan hubungan keluarga kami meriah.. 😍 kami ada raya kami ada tahun baru cina.. Moralnya. Tak smua chinese dan melayu ni racist dan x respect yg lain. Invention of chopsticks: The first chopsticks were used for cooking, stirring the fire, serving or seizing bits of food, and not as eating utensils. Chopsticks began to be used as eating utensils during the Han dynasty. Chopsticks were considered more lacquerware-friendly than other sharp eating utensils.

hi everyone, i’m malay and i’m not ashamed to admit that my current life partner is Chinese. infact my grandmother is a chinese and my previous ex was also a chinese. i am a very open minded person and being me i do what i want to do. yes i’m fine on my own and yes i love my boyfriend for a year and half. there is nothing wrong in dating different race and culture and it doesn’t mean you can’t be in a relationship and in love with each other. our relationship is very transparent, we get along pretty well and value/support/learn/respect about each other. i think what throwing people concern is when it comes to religion and the fundamental of ending up together, because at the end of the day we do want to marry up our partner and have our cute ‘mini us’ one day. somehow, life is short so we follow the flow and have faith.

Saya tak kisah kahwin dgn perempuan melayu, malah pernah jatuh hati dgn sorang classmate perempuan melayu masa uni dulu. Tapi tak pasti bab nak masuk Islam kalau kahwin nanti.

Most of my close friends are Chinese which I ended up able to speak some Mandarin and Hokkien. I used to have Chinese girlfriend, twice. I never thought that was "extremely bizarre" until I moved to peninsular Malaysia around 12 years ago. To me, difference race relationship usually affected by the location, lifestyle, individual education and background which indirectly forming an individual mindset and personality. I may elaborate more and being transparent about this topic, but due to certain factors I'm happy enough to end my itchy typing finger right here. Stay safe, y'all.

A1: We can live together, but we should respect each other and don't restrict our Chinese living habits because of your traditions or religious beliefs. Of course, we will not restrict you. A2: Unless there are religious factors. As long as it does not affect life and health, circumcision is not needed. A3: Whether to take a bath in the morning varies from person to person. Some people think that once a day is enough, so choose to wash at night. Some people cannot take a shower in the morning because they have to hurry to work or class. Not everyone hates taking a shower in the morning. A4: No one dislikes dealing with Malaysians. Maybe it's just that religion and culture are different, so we are not used to it! A5: Chopsticks have been a culture, tool and habit since ancient times, just like Westerners eat with a knife and fork. A6: There are many ways to celebrate the Spring Festival, but I can't do it all at once. However, since China is very large and has many ethnic groups, customs in different regions will be different. A7: Every language is difficult to learn. As long as you are willing to learn, you can succeed! A8: This does not mean living alone! It's just that everyone is very busy and there is no more time to intervene in other people's affairs. A9: As mentioned in the first question, mutual respect is the key to everyone being together, so getting along is the most important thing. The same regardless of race. A10: Regardless of age, red envelopes are just blessings. A11: In fact, every food has bacteria! The key is whether it will affect the body after eating. In Malaysia, it must be emphasized that pork contains bacteria, because Malaysia is an Islamic country and everyone must be persuaded not to eat pork. Sorry, I'm a bit direct . These just only my opinion.

Yes, Malaysia has "Freedom of religion" but do not have "freedom from religion". In Muslim world: Religion > Anything in the world Politic: Islam 1st Law: Islam 1st Morality: Islam 1st Business: Islam 1st Relationship: Islam 1st Decision: Islam 1st God is true. So the rules, laws and restrictions are true. Follow the rules completely. Do not question the God decision. Do not judge the God decision with universal values or universal morality. Legal action is taken against the violator. In non-Muslim world: Religion is just a reference in our life to value things happened around us. The rules or laws may not be true. If some of the rules, laws and restrictions have gone too far from the universal values. We can question them or may not follow them completely. No legal action is taken for not following the religious rules. This is what I call "Freedom from religion". Marriage is the business of two individuals. Why let anything like religion to "campur tangan" in the relationship. Can't imagine how many relationship ended up broken because of these unreasonable or religious restrictions, rules and laws despite they love each other very much. Some people say that why can't you convert to Islam if you truly love him or her. In contrary, why can't Muslim convert to other religion if you truly love him or her. We did not expect you to change why do you expect us to change. Why can't we agree on this? Why is there a must for us to make a choice? Why can't we coexist at the same time? Why can't we accept our differences and appreciate the common value? Why do we let the religion to be the barrier or obstacle to such a precious and lovely relationship? "Because Islam says so." Then the logic falls into this dead cycle again. I'm not here to disrespect Islam but I'm telling the problems and the perspectives as a non-Muslim. What I can tell is those relationships which expect sacrifice and changes from only one side will not last. Because it's too tired and painful to run such a relationship in long term. This is one of the reason that it is seldom to see marriage between Malays and Chineses. Some of you may disagree but this is the fact. OUR VALUES ARE TOO DIFFERENT. Muslim: God is ALL of my life. Non-Muslim: God is only PART of my life. That's all.

I'm Malay.. Working in a company with majority of them are chinese. In my team, only me is Malay. Honestly, I felt so left out everytime they speak in their own language sometime during a meeting or discussion. The conversation was not entirely in their language but it's disappointing when u the only one who don't understand what is happening. However, there are also some good Chinese colleague where they can respect my religion i.e. in term of choosing a place to eat for lunch, they are very careful on the halal food selection and always ask me first if I'm okay with it. Perhaps, I believe race or language is not the barrier but the individual itself. So please be respectful to each other regardless of races, religions, nationality cause we are all same human being on earth. Cheers.

Wil d Malays switch to English every time they converse, so that d angmoh wont feel left out? Unlikely.. It's not easy. Your colleagues are kind enuf to go to halal restaurant to accomodate you. Just simple ans for quest, if there's any wrong please correct me. No offence just sharing😁 1. chinese won't mind living with malay because here sabah mostly all gathered at one taman dy, simple peace and joy okay good neighbours. 2. Circumcised is normal nowadays plus its a mainly hygiene matters, so probably most did too. 3. Bath at the morning we still do because base on own cleanliness, at least I did. 4. Refuse talk with malay because not much chinese fluent in bahasa so awkward rather not to talk, not because of temberang or what. 5. Ain't difficult to learn chinese, use pinyin can do the job easily because some of my malay friends I taught them by using pinyin. 6. Chinese live alone due to some privacy and independent, nothing special thou. 7. Malay girl rajin do housework, respect and love their elder win. 8. Not why chinese like pork so much since others like american, korean, thailand and many more do. Its just a food of self preference same like malay prefer sup tulang, coto/soto and others. Religion is the wall in between, if true love never mind of that. Learn each other religion and respect is enough. For chinese changing malay name u still can keep your english and surname thou just add a simple Adam or other at the front ok dy. Ic will have both original and muslim ic (as I know). Easy say all are humans with blood and tears, no need to be racist or what. Adapt together is good, if can't then just distance not hate. Still can put a smile on the face with each other, it wont hurt😊

Brother, converting to Islam doesn't require the change of name. I'm a Muslim and my name is still Pui Wen Hang. "Islam" means surrender your will to Allah, the Creator of world, mankind and everything. So, if you belive Allah or God is only one and Adam is His first prophet, Mosses is His prohet, Jesus is His prophet, Muhammad is His last prophet, you're a Muslim. Since the era of Prophet Muhammad, Prophet Muhammad didn't ask his friends to change name when they converted to Islam. Changing name is a choice only.

Dulu time study saya pernah kerja kat Sakae Sushi. Kat dalam tu mostly Chinese. Kawan2 Chinese sy semua okey. Kitorang borak and gurau tanpa border. Diorang respect agama Islam. Sy pun respect agama diorang. Some of them Christian and Buddha. Imagine friendly nya diorang sampai kadang2 gurau kasar ejek2 bangsa masing2 gaduh kao2 tapi in the end, mintak maaf then baik2 semula. Sy rasa, kawan2 sy orang Cina senang nak mintak maaf dan memaafkan ( yg penting jgn buat lagi la ) . Lepas mintak maaf, belanja dia makan, mesti die okey. Tu perkara paling sy hargai. Time kerja dulu sy minat dengan sorang amoi ni. Sumpah comel gile woiiii. And sangat baik dan hormat ibu bapa.Meet her parent ( Buddha ) and diorang okey je kalau anak dia convert Islam. ( Yang penting kena jaga baik2 sampai mati ). Saya okey je, sebab sy dr broken family. So sy hargai pasangan. Tapi amoi sy time tu ckp, dia x boleh convert. Dia x bersedia. Sy pula time tu kurang pengetahuan yang kukuh tentang agama Islam sendiri. Jadi sy cakap dlm hati, kalau x boleh takpe, kita jadi kawan baik. Kami break cara baik. ( Sampai sekarang ) Now saya dh kawin dgn orang Melayu juga, dan isteri sy sekarang dalam labour room nak lahirkan anak sulung kami. Sepanjang perkahwinan, sy banyak tunjuk ajar isteri saya hormat orang lain, bangsa lain. Kami sendiri pun kat rumah sometime makan pakai chopstick. Antara bahasa Cina yg sy masih hafal sampai sekarang, masa sy kerja Sakae Sushi dulu : Niao he shen me sui, mei mei? 😘 Buat Mei Yi (kalau ada baca komen sy ni). Semoga awak bahagia dengan kehidupan awak. Kami doakan awak dan sekeluarga sihat, kaya dan sejahtera sepanjang hidup 🤗
