I hope you've all been enjoying this one as much as I have. If you haven't seen part 1, then I suggest you check it out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX66h2xnaJ5pb7c&pp=gAQBiAQB While I’ve created this sensory deprivation tank simulation to give you a glimpse of the experience, it’s important to note that fully replicating the true effects of a sensory deprivation tank through video is not possible. Sensory deprivation tanks are designed to eliminate all sensory input-visual, auditory, and tactile-which is something that can’t be accurately simulated with any form of media. However, I aimed to create a meditative, calming atmosphere that captures some of the essence of a float tank. For this simulation, I’ve used subtle water caustics on a dark background for the visuals and underwater sound effects to enhance the auditory experience. While it’s not a perfect substitute, I hope you understand what I'm going for here, and that it offers you a limited sensory deprivation experience for meditation, sleep, or relaxation. As you engage with this sensory deprivation tank "simulation", you'll notice that removing external stimuli allows the mind to wander-similar to the moments just before falling asleep. One of the immediate effects is deep relaxation. Studies show that float tanks can reduce cortisol levels, the body’s primary stress hormone, leading to a sense of calm. Many people report improved clarity, personal breakthroughs, and even moments of epiphany. For those exploring meditation or mindfulness practices, this experience can be transformative. To make the most of this sensory deprivation tank simulation, I recommend minimizing sensory input as much as possible. Here’s how: Sight: Turn off all lights or wear an eye mask to block out visual distractions. Touch: Find a comfortable position, ideally lying down or sitting in a way that supports relaxation. Hearing: Eliminate background noise. Headphones will enhance the auditory experience, but they aren't required. Smell: Ensure your environment is free of distracting smells. Lighting your favorite incense or candle can help set the mood. Breathing: Take deep breaths-inhale, hold briefly, and exhale slowly. Continue with steady, controlled breaths until you find a relaxing rhythm. Taste: Drink water to stay hydrated and reduce sensory stimulation in your mouth. While these suggestions are optional, following them will significantly enhance your experience. Relax, get comfortable, and enjoy this sensory journey! 🙏 *I'm working on new videos everyday and your support is invaluable.* - Watch time is the most essential metric for growth. Every extra minute you watch indicates to the algorithm that this content is worth sharing with more people - whether you're actively listening or playing the video at low volume in the background, it makes a significant, positive impact. Doing this will allow you to begin to learn how to collaspe the senses in order to still the mind. This helps begin the process of detachment. With eyes closed I can feel the stillness I experienced in an SDT on a trip to NYC in the '80's. I was an avid meditator, even back then. There is nothing like it. I remember thinking if I used one of these routinely I will reach Enlightenment in no time. Such a euphoric experience. Namaste.

I ran into a style of music called 8d. I immediately thought of this part 2 video and wondered what it would sound like in 8d. Maybe you like it? New idea for your next vid. Thanks for your video. It's the only thing that drounds out my high pitch tinnitus and nonstop inner narrator. Every night. @@AnthonySommer

I myself listen w/ earbuds every night andi continuously find tunes which are aggravating,so many claim that ocean waves, rivers,wind, pianos and many off tunes will relax you, those may calm you down but finding this is a continuous steady low tune which which is is completely opposite of what i mentioned about the others, thank you 👌

@AnthonySommer
@AnthonySommer 3 ай бұрын
Hey Travkatz, thanks for the feedback. I’ve double-checked the audio on my end, and the peaks are kept below the threshold where pops or clicks should occur. However, this video contains many very low frequencies, which can sometimes cause certain audio devices to struggle at higher volumes. If you're listening on speakers or a phone, I’d recommend trying headphones instead-because it's pretty relaxing without those distracting pops and clicks.

Similar to part 1 but EQ’d even the kaleidoscope as I can see but the opacity is low but I can still see when I change the quality settings. Also the description here: "A low, comfortable volume is recommended. The audio slowly gets quieter over time, and introduces soft white noise to help guide you into a deeper mental state, and reduce distractions while you are trying to meditate or sleep." But there’s no white noise because this is a sensory deprivation video. That part of the description that you put may be an error. Just pointing that out. Anyways, I’m glad that you’re working on videos every day. I am so interested to see new content new new visuals and more meditations. I also got a question: are you planning on doing more of "The Sounds Of Interstellar Space" like I imagined them having the same visuals as the one you did your older videos but the sounds are EQ’d.
@AnthonySommer
@AnthonySommer 3 ай бұрын
It's actually a totally different recording! But I understand how you would think it was just EQ'd, especially because I layered 4+ underwater recordings together, including the original. Yep, that was a mistake that I'll correct right now, thanks bro ❤ And no, but yes. I can't do more of that series, because it was recorded with plasma devices, however, I'm working on a new video inspired from that series.

Reminds me, as a kid, sitting under water in a “Hot tub” and seeing the infinite amount of bubbles constantly lifting my body up. While the warm water and sound, is pure bliss. Use to be my favorite thing to do at the beach, if the hot tub wasn’t too hot. It was soo calming and perfect, I wanted to stay there/under water forever lol. Found an another video similar to this. This one is good!
