Hey guys, it's me, your friendly neighborhood sociopath. This week I've decided to upload another Video Essay, as you can see by the title, this particular video centers around The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974 Version). As we begin to settle into the month of Halloween I want to analyze more of my favorite horror films and games, starting with this. As time goes on I'll be editing more goodies for ye' to sink your teeth into. Until then kick back and enjoy this little analysis I've thrown together. I just found your channel like yesterday. Love the long-form deep dives into subjects you're interested in, but can't really enjoy the gameplay compilations because I'm an adult and I just don't care lol. By the way, it's funny how minds work, even yours, because while the public and you thought this movie was gory and shocking, I don't think there's a single shot of someone being stabbed, or cut, or anything other than having a little blood on them.

In the 10+ years I've known of the existence of the series I've never actually watched one of them.
