So glad they bounced back after the end of that road trip and the Buffalo game and look like they are playing properly again. Sens have put themselves back into the spot where they control their own destiny again with the pts % and having a great chance at overtaking Boston (big game this Saturday upcoming). Ha, I remember the first time I realized a player was younger than me. You may know him, I think he goes by the name Sidney Crosby. Year after year it just became more and more. I believe Joe Thornton was the last player to retire that played in the 20th century. If not him then one of them.

This I disagree with. He’s still one of our goalies for the foreseeable future and has shown at times why he’s still an NHL goalie. He is definitely struggling tho.

There’s no real controversy. Forsberg is an auto lost… Leevi should be the starter while Linus is hurt. I like Forsberg but he’s not an NHL Level goalie since his injury.

The injury certainly hasn’t helped him. Really sucks to see. Hope he can get back to the level he used to be at. Tough for a goalie to bounce back from two knee injuries :(

@ 100% He was reliable before his injury… in fact it saved his career and got himself a nice little contract. Sadly, this is a winning business and his performance since he was injured is just not NHL level. And right now he has no confidence and the team simply can’t trust him. He’s ranked 50th or worst in most categories and he’s playing for his next contract. He’s probably done in the NHL if he can’t perform this season. Leevi deserve and he won the backup spot from him. Goaltending is all about winning your spot on the team. I hope that Forsberg will get a chance with another club at the end of the year cause he’s a great person… but I highly doubt that someone would like a goalie with such poor performance numbers
