First talent tier I chose Master poisoner, because it buffs all your poisons, and your artifact abilities as well! According to the dps spread sheets ive seen, poison's just do so much damage its a must have. Just my opinion. Hemo can be viable, but its an extra ability you have to use as well ( Not a deal breaker)

One little correction: open with cheap shot > garrote > hemo, this way you gain 75% more damage from garrote + no cd ;)

Awesome video sensus, but I would argue that unless against a healer (so duels and whatnot) Deadly poison is so much better than wound, deadly apply the dot, then any application after that refreshes the dot and does some instant damage, and has alot higher damage output than wound, having another dot ticking feels really nice to our sustained damage too, thoughts?

Thanks for that. Apparently the Exsanguinate "nerf" was only a PvP nerf, in PvP it was always 100%.

Sensus you made an error Poisoned knife applies the active lethal _and_ non-lethal poisons. 1:30. Also i would say that Deeper Stratagem is better than vigor for assas, alone because of the damage difference of a maxcp rupture, the difference is actually 120k > 200k. If there is a good reason for choosing vigor over that 80k more dmg on rupture could you tell me why?

Added an annotation after I noticed that, and the reason why I prefer Vigor > DS for assass is because it makes for a smoother opener with the extra energy and the 10% extra energy regeneration is also good since it feels you're energy starved too often with deeper stratagem. It is true you get a longer rupture with DS but at the same time you're not gonna let rupture drop outside of burst anyway.

Ah i see. Indeed noticed the energy starving, though i havn't even tried running with vigor yet as my thought has been that it takes away too much from Exsanguinate burst damage. The smoothness in openers and regen might be worth it though i will give it a try and see what happens. Thank you for your response man and keep those awesome vids coming.

I really like your videos, super in-depth! Why do you use hemo before garrote in the all out burst opener? Is it just random or is there a reason?

Hemo increases bleed damage by 25% so I use it first to get the most out of garrote and my other bleeds.

What about the nightstalker talent with a vanish > rupture? Since rupture is the majority of ur dmg, that'd be a huge bonus/burst potential. Wouldn't it be? Massive bleed ticks

Assassination barely has any survivability so using one of your few defensives for offense will only get you killed. It was okay back in WoD because we had Prep but not anymore.

Actually you can open without any cds and pop up target by oneshot macro after stun's dm.

Hi Sensus Senpai (please notice me) Does assassination get funner in legion, and would you reccomend it for a person her loves DoT's on a melee spec? (I mained unholy dk for MoP/WoD)

Well I may not be sensus but hopefully I'll do :) Assassination is looking to be pretty fun, spreading lots of bleeds and poisons around a battleground or arena and doing some insane damage, as well as good burst and utility, I would say assassination should be fun in legion, but best thing to do do mate is try it yourself :)

No they're separate. Poisons get affected by your mastery, your bleeds do not.

sounds like you are really set on MOD rupture. so far, my experience thats not the best way. Garrote(dmg buff) cheap shot(silence and stun overlap. i know) mutilate(just for points) rupture(5 point) at this point you are out of stealth and they have about half a second left on the cheapshot Hemorrahge(dmg) mutilate(x2 if you can) kennedy shot. thats kinda what i have been running with and it works and tons of dmg. you have all your bleeds on them and you still have your MOD and Vendetta to use with exsang for a huge dmg envenom. but the downside is after you do this youre kinda spent. low energy and all your big stuff is on cd. but if they are close to death vanish envenom. if they arent close to death. well... vanish and dip pretty much. give it a try and tell me what you think. or why you dont think its a good way to go. thx bud

I play assassination, heres my opinion I don't totally agree with your opener at all on any target, I can kill someone in approx. about 5 seconds with the way I open I go with marked for death vendetta rupture (I have nightstalker 50% extra damage coming outta stealth) hemo garrote extinguish vanish they die to bleeds and poisons and I sit and laugh. that's me tho name is Puncture-Smolderthorn if you want to look it up.
