Our focus has to be on Jesus and Mary needed a saviour like the rest of mankind. Respecting Mary in her proper place is godly as the humble blessed woman she was no more! Jesus never said ask my Mother to ask me he told us to come direct to him as the curtain was torn in two so we now have direct acesss to Jesus so why go to His Mother? He is the only way John 14:6 informs us no one else is the way not Mary, the saints, Buddha, Hara Krishna nor Mohommad.

@@AnnetteMurphyger Catholics do not worship Mary, we venerate (honor) her. There is a big difference. Jesus gave us Mary as our spiritual mother in John 19:26-27: Behold your son, behold your mother. Children naturally turn to their mother in times of need. Mary as the mother Jesus gave us is no different.
