I'm a fairly recent follower (I subscribed because of the first monster chopper vid) but I've been hammering through the back catalogue pretty quickly. The builds themselves are obviously awesome and really fun and informative to watch, but I think the real draw is you guys yourselves. There's no pretence or fake drama, it's just friends having a laugh. Oh, and I'm definitely down for a full Humvee build series.

I have yamaha raptor 700cc with turbo. It is single cylinder engine and makes 120hp with turbo. You should try to use one of those turbos from raptor 700cc turbo kits. It spools really quick and i think that could work good in 450cc dirtbike engine. Engines smaller than that would need turbo specifically made for those exhaust pulses and displacement.

For an alternative small capacity turbo engine project, what about one of the high revving Japanese 250cc bikes from the early 90s? Cbr250rr, fzr250r, zx2r or gsxr250 depending on which brand is easily available... from importers or Canada.

Those engines would work great with turbo. Exhaust pulses are just like kn bigger 4cyl engines. But there is turbos that would work in single cylinder but they are hard to find. I have raptor 700cc turbo. It spools good and makes 120hp. That turbo from kit could work also in 450cc engine. And it could be modified for that purpose.
