Following the 2020 election results, Pastor Gary Hamrick delivers a reminder from Matthew 10 on how we are to live as followers of Christ no matter who occupies the White House. The American Christian life has been too comfortable for too long. But times are changing. Lines are being drawn in the sand. Christians cannot remain silent or complacent. Just look at the early disciples and how they were martyred for their faith! Jesus says that when we live for Him we should expect opposition and hostility even from within our own families. He is sending us out “as sheep among wolves.”

Solid teaching. 🙏🏼 Unfortunately, many preachers in the church are more committed to being either motivational speakers or counselors/therapists instead of teaching believers to be disciples and witnesses for Jesus. Prayerfully, more pastors will teach the truth from the Bible.

Today is Nov.9, 2023, I may ask question, why such cities in USA allowed non-Christian churches to establish with thousands members? Someday, this religious group being wiser will dominate Christianity.

If anyone from Cornerstone reads this-- My daughter has cited this chapter as to why she no longer wishes to talk to me. It went from talking to her every other day to her calling me and saying she didn't want to talk to me for 3 months. that was 2 years ago. Anytime I try to get a hold of her, she calls the Police stating that I am harassing her! she lives 1.5 hours away so it is not easy to go see her. She was raised a believer and attends church as an adult and sings in the praise and worship team. I am a believer as well. HELP!
