Susan was hopeful this would be considered a "stand your ground case"...not even close.

I could almost believe her, until I look at the circumstances, the fact that she shot through a door she didn't know who was on the other side. She didn't know that she could have killed a child. Secondly she brought the gun into the situation when she should have called the police. She didn't tell AJ to go away that she had a gun. She gave nobody a chance at all she just decided she was going to f*** them over. But she did and she ended up screwing herself too. And in my opinion, she's right where she belongs. This was not a lawful killing she thought that she could get away with it and exploit the stand your ground laws but that's not what they're for. That law was put on the books for people that were really threatened. This was a woman that was trying to find out what happened to her child.

I dont understand what she is talking about. She was found guilty. She should be EAGER to do her prison time, learn how to be remorseful, and be thanking the judge for reducing her possible 30 year sentence to 25 years. Nobody cares about her physical medical issues. I also do not understand her attorney stating that there was no plea deal when the state said give them a "reasonable offer". That is literally an invitation to enter plea deal negotiations. Since the defendant "chose not to do that" then the defense is responsible for there being no plea deal. She already lost some weight from just being in jail which is GOOD for her physical medical issues so again she should be appreciative of being awarded prison time. In prison she can learn her wrongs, learn remorse, and get healthier physically.

I had a neighbor that had children that vandalized my property. I mentioned it to the mother and she cursed me and threatened. Her kids got worse and worse. The mother would scream and threaten me every time I walked out the door. My car was keyed, my side mirror was hit with a baseball bat. Loud music ALL NIGHT, every night! After 3 months, I finally talked to a lawyer and he got me out of my lease. So , yes, a person can be provoked to the point of this happening.
