Sentencing The Legend of Zelda Villains for Their Crimes
Ever since the NES days, Link, the Hero of Time, has been embarking on many perilous journies in order to save Hyrule from the forces of evil. He usually ends these confrontations by lodging his sword into his opposition resulting in their destruction, temporarily or permanently. However, what if Link approached his enemies as less of a warrior and more of a lawyer? We're not sure what the courts in Hyrule would say but we certainly have our own opinions of what punishment these villains deserve based on their various actions.

Ganondorf did get The Death penalty in the Child Timeline but then banished to the Twilight Realm

Well he actually did get to death penalty. He just couldn't get executed due to the triforce of power. Henceforth the twilight realm became his new home for a while.

Honestly Ganondorf has one quality that is good at best his original desire. Back when he came to hyrule he wanted to conquer hyrule to give to his people the gerudo. However due to Ganondorf being nothing more than just the reincarnation of Demise he well meant wish went south horribly. I wonder if he wasn't a reincarnation of Demise would half of all the destruction take place....

They had to have Master Kohga do himself in to preserve the game's age rating. Notice how none of the Yiga Clan members die when you defeat them like other enemies, they just teleport away. Same deal with the Gerudo in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, the guards are simply stunned for a bit when you attack them, and the ones you fight run away after you beat them. That's because they're humans, not monsters, and Nintendo doesn't want Link killing other humans.

I would like to see a sentencing of the villains of the Command And Conquer games. As the franchise is divided into three different timelines, the Tiberium, Red Alert, and Generals timeline there are a lot of factions and individuals to judge. It would also be interesting to see a Command And Conquer:Good To Evil ranking.

Ganondorf is the reincarnation of Demise's hatred for the goddess and her hero...so yes in a way Demise is responsible for how Ganondorf is and that is canon....but Ganondorf is still responsible for a lot his own actions as well
