i know this is an old game now and all, but i wanted to talk about Mustache Girl's character a bit and how i think it could have been done better. don't get me wrong, i love this game, but i think this is a reason its actual "story" isn't talked about much. what i believe was meant to be conveyed through Mustache Girl was that - this world is lawless. most people who live in it are crooks, demons, or just terrible people all around, that way, on a surface level observation, the idea of "fixing things" and "saving everyone" sounds noble and pure-hearted. but here's the thing about this world; there is NO ONE to save or rescue. EVERYONE is a bad person. and because there isn't any actual good to be found in this world, trying to "fix things" is nothing more than a waste of time, especially since all of these "villains" are just minding their own business. it's what the story's theme is - "Get lost. We don't NEED a hero. So leave well enough alone and mind your own business." here's the issue with this, though. Mustache Girl is a bit TOO sympathetic. when you consider she used to be an innocent kid that lived in that world happily with her grandfather before the Mafia took over, and especially since you can see innocent people getting harassed by the Mafia in the first world, her cause ends up becoming noble and understandable, which doesn't work when the theme is that she should mind her own business and get lost. imagine if instead of THAT being her story, Mustache Girl was an explorer like Hat Kid, roaming the galaxy to fight crime and evil. like Hat Kid, she has no connection to this world, and sees it as nothing more than a mistake that needs to be fixed. this would immediately contrast her with Hat Kid, who crashes into the place but only wants to go home and just live and let live. it makes Mustache Girl work much better as an antagonistic force because she is NOT minding her own business here, and it becomes much more compelling to beat her when you see that her idea of "heroism" is turning the world into a death mountain where she is judge, jury, and executioner. On top of this, we change the story of the Mafia taking over an innocent town to them simply discovering an unused island and colonizing it. like i said, i still love the game, don't get me wrong, and i think the story is fine. it just occurred to me that this could have been a bit more than what it was and convey this theme a lot better, but otherwise it's still great.

I beat the final boss in pikmin 4 last night, I was shocked how I did it. I legit thought I was dreaming when I thought about it again right now. I lost so many brave soldiers…

I have this suggestion about his whole family and his kidnapping of princesses hobby:⚠️ Imo. Bowsers actual ca age girlfriend and relatives are missing/ killed. Peach is NOT a biological mother of any kiddo regarding the koopas or Bowsers species, (how would eh they " do " it? No thanks..). But step-in mother for Bowser jr. In every Mario game having Bowser jr involved in canonlore, shown or otherwise. Bowser keep on kidnapping Peach so little jr can have motherly role model even if its a different species. BEFORE Bowser junior got alot more stage time or even before concepted into canon-lore. I think Bowser just kidnapped Peach just to bully Mario but treated Peach well and kinda took the time to see how well Mario fared. OR. Bowser kidnaps Peach out of revenge and spite because Bowsers same species girlfriend and even sister, brother got killed off by different humans that came before Mario, Luigi etc first time appeared in the Mushroom Kingdom, on the planet. But Bowser cant find the actual killer or killers so he takes it out on Mario and Luigi🤔 First I thought maybe the culprits would be Waluigi and Wario. But they are more thiefs than murderers and Bowser havent gotten out of his way to act vengeance upon them. Also those two oddballs are afraid or not willing to dare upset Bowser.. well unless its competitional games😂 Kinda feel bad for Bowser though.. The most controversial placement is probably Kersti. For most of the game, she's very short tempered (quick to judgement), and never really lets up, until the obligatory sacrifice. Basically an extra abrasive, less helpful Starlow. Not sure if that makes her a bad person, but she is poorly written (unlike everyone else). Huey and Olivia are much more moral throughout the game.
