20 years ago this was a mystery! lol... I always thought it was a directional thing. I accidentally have been doing this with the assist button sometimes and couldn't get it to be consistent. Thankyou for this breakdown.

Ok, so is this why I feel like some guys move faster than me??? When I play any of the top 8 marvel players I felt they knew something I didn't. I guess i was right. I wonder what other things they know?? Thanks Magnetro for always sharing information. I will use my channel to do what I've been watching you do for many many years, that is, share knowledge. GGS

Same here. I always wonder how they're able to perform it effortlessly with their Sent refly. I can never pull it off no matter how hard I grind in the labs

Many things.... back in the day there was very little sharing of secrets in the community. Magnetro was the one who blew the top off of a lot of tech that even the top players didn't know.

after how many frames, after doing fly, can you press a button or neutral->direction to cancel fly?

We don't get it. Can some one explain the difference between this and regular fast fly???

regular fast fly is using a direction input to negate the recovery, in this case u are using the press of a button to negate the recovery and because you can do this with any button u can use the assist button to negate the recovery and also combo with the assist

I may be a bit confused here but is this the same explanation as doing a regular fly combo like short, fly, tap direction+short? Is there something here that makes this unique of that?

I think pushing a button to cancel flight recovery is easier than direction tap, and then even more useful if you're doing flight combos with an assist, since you're not doing tap direction+button while still having to concentrate on when to call your assist. i.e doing Storm expansion assist after flight is the perfect timing for this tech

@@Marceles45 That makes a lot of sense. Man it'd be rough trying to unlearn the directional tap after all these years. Especially with no real solid way of playing the game for me these days. Hopefully they pull off the #FREEMVC2 thing.

The part where you say you gotta wait a short amount of time before tapping F after flight is a little vague. How much time exactly? Does it matter?

Any direction works not just forward. You have to let the stick go to neutral for just a brief second and then tap the direction

As always huge thanks to sharing.. but it's not secret at all, since eczangief posted this in SRK thread. I can't reproduce that thou.... The most interesting info, at least for me is that you need to wait a few frames to tap the direction tô cancel flight animation... I can easily do fast flies, but never payed atention to this. Is there a specific time to press the Button to cancel the flight animation? And can you still use assist Button If the assist is already dead?

If you hold the assist button, you can button cancel fast fly and then still use the assist afterwards.
