The artist told me that it wasn't supposed to be the characters in stark armor but rather they're robots who believe that they are the characters because perfect copies of their minds were downloaded into the bodies. There was going to be a tie-in official non cannon comic run but the whole thing fell apart a few years ago and he still wanted to see them made. He'd waited a couple years but finally gave up on the collaboration and now we have these. Supposed to have a hulk, wasp, Thor and black widow as well. Magneto and Cyclops weren't originally part of the thing but he loves those characters.

Mcucollector these have to be some of the coolest action figures I’ve ever seen. Even though I’m not going to get them, they still look really cool and they have awesome designs
