Yeah I meant to cover this in the video, but it was very much on our minds that science is lacking in that part of the game. There was an early draft of Photon that was aimed in that direction, but there ended up not being room in the kit. And God knows the class is doing fine in terms of BGs attackers. So this felt like a good way to round things out. Happy to see you and Curd (and maybe others but writing this after two comments haha) both appreciating that.

The F4 will be able to do Necro as 7*. I have them as r5a and they can solo specific fights; Reed vs Jubilee IW vs the non-dexing nodes on the left etc Torch vs some mystics like diablo If i get down time this festive period ill try record it all

Will Sentry be constrained in Necropolis with his big damage or can he bypass it with red damage like some can am wondering that.

You have to hit absurdly hard to touch the damage cap in Necro, and it's only really a problem if your damage is concentrated in a single burst like Shang-Chi. If you're repeatedly hitting that cap... You're doing great.

I really love this concept of making one of the overhauls for a longer term content (Everest content, necro, incursions, etc). I love that you guys thought of that. I am excited for him.

Definitely hoping to pick him up, I've always had a soft spot for ramp up champs, and he seems REALLY strong once ramped up. Hope we get to use him in the necro objectives

Wow - on paper this looks great! Really glad the team were able to do him justice. He's my number one pick from the upcoming banquet box. Do you think crit rate/damage or prowess for stat focus?

Crit rate as normal. Crit damage isn't tuned high enough to be worth his ability there, and his payout is red numbers on basics, so prowess won't do anything really.

If we ever got any character customization option whether that’s shaders or simply being able to choose from a few designs I’d love one to mess with Sentry’s hair. How long? How crazy could we make that beard and stache? Black or purple hair would look interesting, but maybe with different colored suit.

Unfortunately even if we ever get customization, it's unlikely we'll have anything that granular. A few skins for each champion would already be a huge undertaking.

@@Daddylonglegs93Yeah, I never expected anything big unless by way of a glitch(not tryna be funny when I say that). Though I would assume characters’ display pictures could be modified maybe a little more than the actual champion in fight to players’ liking.

The update sounds solid. But I don’t think that the problem that some will have is the fact that he’s an Everest champ. We need those type of champs. However, the problem is that there just isn’t enough Everest content to use them in. I haven’t touched Aegon since Necropolis dropped. Other than that, great work as usual bro.

One point for clarification: the CDR getting converted into Attack, does that include his base CDR; or does he still benefit from that baseline, and any additional bonuses he might get are what get converted into Attack?

Looks great! One complaint I have with Northstar who is the recent long form champ is he feels only good against skill class. Like I haven’t seen any necro solos with him other than hit monkey. Sentry seems to be excel even against non mystic champs.

I mean Northstar is being rebalanced so I'd say that's a different issue. He does nutty damage against any class just fine once ramped, as with Sentry, but he doesn't have persistent ramp, and so we've decided he gets there too slowly.

I just like how there is an Everest type science champion because all of the science champions are BG nukes and I was getting tired of it. And I didn’t like how all of my mystic defenders are getting nuked in BGs by science champions. And I have been wondering but, he has exhaustion and wither so can he reverse power gain?

Exhaustion does not by default reduce APR, but the total potency of the wither is over 100%, so yes, reversal is on the table.

I'm quite excited for this update. Incursions is a really fun mode and if Sentry was built with exactly that in mind - I can't wait! I love the changes that have been made to Story, Events, etc... but the content is far too brief to really allow someone like Aegon, VTD or this new Sentry to really ramp up and unload. The Paragauntlet is even shorter. These modes can present challenges but with only six fights that pretty much leaves you with only the boss fight as being where you're kind of ramper. Also, with BG being so popular, it feels like that's what new champions need to be geared towards in order to feel impactful / relevant. I'm actually thrilled to see this is going in another direction. It opens up additional avenues for people who enjoy playing modes like Incursions and other long-form content. Which is always a good thing. People complain that AQ has gotten stale and doesn't encourage deviation or experimentation, "Just use Herc". A sentiment I agree with. Incursions has almost become the same thing... which is exactly why Sentry being built for something other than BGs is good: Increased Variety

Cuz for for long form content we have aegon … who is way better Aw … there are better option Bg … he is too slow … So please can you make it bit clear where he is meant to shine or even outshine other champs ?

@sayhanrashed9234 I think the most important thing to underline is that the game just rewards more diversity than you're describing. Aegon exists, sure, but there are plenty of places where Sentry's new kit is going to be better, which is only natural for a champ in a different class. The same will be true in war and other content. There is room between "BGs nuke" and "Aegon" that is still valuable

Santry is really a disappointment, thankfully a rebalance is due. He is new Silver sable and needs an immediate attention. Ofcourse everyone is entitled to his openion who thinks he is great.
