There are so many mystic champions coming out my account cant keep up. I was dead set on taking Kushala to r3 and then i got Shathra. I was dead set on taking shathra to r3 and then i heard we were getting Isophyne for free. was going to hold off on the shathra r3 to see if i liked Isophyne more. Now i want spiral 😂

Hey DLL, love these videos, almost a must watch for all of these new (very complicated) champions. Would you ever consider making them a podcast series for background listening on other platforms (Spotify, SoundCloud etc). Just a thought as they are not very visual but great background listening for when grinding arenas 😅

Hey DLL, i pulled a 6 star patriot and i love the reversal mechanic. i like the design of patriot but i wish he has more consistent damage and utility. is there any news on a tune up for him? i would really like to see what you would do with his tune up because you make really good and affective champions. the skill class needs some help too so if anyone can save the skill class it’s you. i want to use him in more matchups then just photon he’s so cool.

I like his buff a lot. A lot of it has to do with liking Black Panther especially how his Civil War counterpart looks. I like what you did as far as upgrading his defensive threat while greatly improving offensive output. I will say I’m worried for his lack of utility. I saw your short explanation and while I understand especially having a R2 7star Mantis I worry about future use. When defenders come out commonly they’re asking for utility to counter their threats especially when pared with nodes so I could see a point and time where the damage isn’t enough. I hope he’ll be useful in spite of that or when his data period is over he can get a little something extra to help future proof him. Either way the web of fate is spun I’m glad he received the love he deserved and you were able to do it yourself. Have a peaceful one sir.

Given the crazy (in a good way!) champ designs you’ve come out with, I assumed you had an intense background in both. Is that not the case? Great stuff as always!

He looks great. Kinda simple playstyle of parrying and dexing then heavy cancelling into specials, that's my kind of playstyle. I enjoy champs like OG Iron Man and Starky who use those mechanics.

Been waiting on this since it was teased years ago!! Can’t wait!! One question on Utility though, why no AAR or ability to counter evade/miss/unstoppable? Some version of those are pretty common Skill Class tropes. Evade counter in particular seems like it would really help him target Science defenders.

So does the final hit of the sp2 still only proc 1 burst if heavy cancelled? Or is it 1 burst on the first 2 hits, then 1 burst for the heavy cancel plus the burst it normally does on the final hit?

I appreciate your thoughts on 2 metas versus 1 meta at the end. I never put much thought into it as I'm not one of those "heavily invested" players but i do prefer the single meta for all the reasons you stated.
