All of my friends love Japanese and Korean pop music, and I'm just over here listening to Irish pop. I can't get enough of you guys! Please please come to the Western United States! There are so many people with Irish heritage that want to learn more!

Chloe Macdonald I also love the Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, music, ancient culture, arts, artists, legends, shows, movies and Dramas. I think that there's a heartfelt ancestral connection with the Irish culture because of the respect for the older generations and their struggles, sacrifices, bravery, endurance and lovingkindness, etc. Check out the Korean drama, "While You Were Sleeping," on the app Viki Rakatan or the Chinese Drama, GUARDIAN, on uTube staring Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu, with 14 language translations, it's 2 years old and extremely popular, fans worldwide make fan-clips-videos & share! The Original Korean Zombie film, "Train To Busan", is an amazing Korean film with English sub-titles, but make sure you the watch the Original! There's English subtitles, but mostly screaming, lol!

Eh, in popular music we don't have every word so usually we substitute lines with other phrases, so you might be learning it wrong if you don't go to the direct translation.

***** This is basically how all my Rotary friends learned the language of the countries they went to. It's not as if a lot of american high schools teach Thai afterall

***** I have the Rosetta Stone version, and I thought it was pretty good. The tough part is not hearing it everyday. It's really tough to pick it up unless you have the immersion aspect.

@josiah165610 жыл бұрын
You definitely need the immersion aspect if you want to be fluent in it though. Nothing is the same as being around the language and having to speak it 24/7

***** There is an Indo-European language group called the Celtic languages; Irish is one of the Celtic languages (and the subgroup Goidelic languages).
@MadBluFox7 жыл бұрын
I hate to be called Celtic due to it being a racial slur towards Irish derives from the British or britonic people unable to understand or lacking care to pronounce correctly then it being illegal to speak till late 1970s in Ireland
