This is interesting because it is in Gaelic but has a distinctly Latin American feel. As a person who will spend much of her day in bed if she can, I love it!

Sarah Gray there is also a population of Irish with Spanish decent. And some cross over words. “Tú” being the most obvious example that I can think of, singular you in both languages. It isn’t Spanish directly, but I also heard Iasc is derived from a Latin word for fish.

@@brooscaredya These two languages actually are and sound nothing alike, and have but one thing in common, the VSO word order, which *is* a total coincidence. They belong to two completely different linguistic and human groups, Irish is a Celtic language of the Indo-European branch whereas Arabic is semitic.

This song absolutely doesn't fit my music taste, but I still somehow enjoy listening to it, because it's nice to hear this language in different styles! @@lollypop7503 Irish has a sound that semetic languages like Arabic also have. I forgot what it's called, but it's the sound you make when you push air over the back of your throat. The Dutch have it too
