So, just to be clear you first followed the signs to baggage claim but you actually went to immigration first then you go get your bags?

That is correct...once you are out of the plane...the baggage claim sign will take you first to immigration and then to baggage claim. This is only applicable for international arrivals (not domestic flights). Happy Travels!

How long does it take to get out of the airport? I need to schedule a train to Busan after so I wanted to know how many minutes do I need to buffer to get to the KTX. I appreciate your input.

Depends on how busy is Immigration...last time we were out in 30 mins and sometimes took almost 1.5 to 2 hours (before COVID). Guess 2 to 3 hrs will be safe buffer...but can't confirm.

If you are an international arrival and have an international connecting flight (with boarding pass) to the next country, then you follow the "International transfer/connecting flights" sign to go to your next flight gate. As you will be in transit (international connecting flights) and not entering South Korea, you don't have to go to local Immigration at this ICN Airport.

I have to transit via ICN. I’m arriving from Bangalore, India to Seoul from Singapore airlines. And I have a round trip flight booked in Jeju air Seoul to Ulaanbataar,Mongolia. Do I need to get a transit visa ahead of time. I’m an Indian Passport holder with a valid US visa.
