Interesting about the standing espresso bar. A lot of the auto grills in Italy had standing only coffee and pastry areas. A few had seating areas where you could eat the food you purchased from there. You are so crafty and artsy Cari. I love it. Your frog was cute. OMG, I love Kiki's Delivery Service!!! That café was so cute! And I recently read Diana Wynne Jones' Howl's Moving Castle as well! I love the book and the movie. But the best part of the book, in my opinion, is when Sophie goes with the magic boots and has so many problems with getting to the right place! That was hilarious. Thank you for a nice vlog.

I don't know where you get the energy to cram so much into one week, but it's amazing to watch lol. I've also noticed that in some shots, there are areas of the city that have an overwhelming amount of signage and visual clutter, yet other areas have almost nothing. There also seems to be a ridiculous amount of wiring hanging above the streets! I live in a semi-rural area, so I'm not used to seeing that much stuff in one place. Take care, don't over do it and exhaust yourself before your trip. Save your energy! Can't wait to see the results of your Prague/Venice adventure. 🙂

Hi!! I'm pretty sure you'll love your trip to Prague and Vienna. I don't remember much places in Prague since I went too long ago, but there was a place with an incredible (I want to say Musshroom) soup. And in Vienna I went last October and I still haven't recovered from it. Such a beautiful city, everything looks like art. There were three cafés that I loved and I think you'll love them too. The first one is Adlerhof Café Bistro & Bar, is not in the city center, but you could take the trolley car around the Opernring (and experience itself) or the subway. And then this other café that's just too cute, it´s called Vollpension which is near the Opera. And the last one, it's called Café Hawelka, it's centric and it has something the makes you like it (super important though, they only accept cash, I learned it the hard way haha). I hope this can help you :) And if you ever come to Barcelona, I can be your guide and recommend you all the cafés I like.

HI, I'm Korean. Thanks for introducing Seoul. I'm citizen of Seoul, and I'm living in Seongdong in Seoul. "Seongdong" means "east of the wall" or "east of the fortress" in English. Old Seoul was smaller than Today Seoul, and Seongdong is located to the wall of old Seoul. Seoul means "capital" in English. Most Korean people doesn't use "Seoul" as common noun anymore, but "Seoul" was only common noun until 1946. Before 1946, "Seoul" was not name of city, just common noun meaning "capital". Even Korean people are not using "Seoul" as common noun, but it still means 'capital' in dictionary. So You can say "the seoul of USA is Washington DC". Seoul is only "Special City" in South Korea. "Special City" is status for capital and separated from province, just like Washington DC is separated from State of Maryland, and Virginia. And there are several numbers of "Metropolitan City" like Busan or daegu, and they are also separated from province. "Special City" and "Metropolitan City"s are Independent city, so they are no difference with provinces. Gangnam was part of Gyeonggi province, but included to Seoul in 1963. Gangnam means "south of river". It was because gangnam was located to the south of Hangang River. At first, Gangnam was part of Seongdong, but was separated later. Enjoy in Korea.

That Kiki Cafe looked amazzzzing! I would have bought way too much there lol I will also always read anything Diana Wynne Jones. She does cozy, but slightly dark middle grade fantasy so well. I recently read a standalone by her called Archer's Goon, which I highly recommend! Also just read another mg called Amari and the Night Brothers that was excellent (but be warned the third book hasn't pubbed yet!)

For strict vegan options I would def research ahead of time cause a lot of “veggie” options might have fish or meat broths or flavoring 😬 but especially in the city of seoul you can find lots of great vegan restaurants 😍😍😍 hope you have an amazing time! One way to be really sure youre safe and vegan is to look for temple/buddhist food - they often have cheap buffets near temples :)

I second the 'temple food' suggestion 🙂 There are some wonderful restaurants in this category, a few of which are well known. I recommend Sanchon in Insa-dong if you ever find yourself over that way!
