Hey Cari! I will watch this video later, but I just wanted to let you know how much your videos help me to relax when it's bedtime. It's weird, but everytime you upload a video I know that it has that cozy feeling that is so hard to find now in youtube and mass media in general. Thank you for the dedication you put in every single vlog and I hope you have a nice trip! 💕

Hello, Nice to meet you. I'm Korean. Koreans have an affinity for Hungary. These are the words of Eom Seok-jeong, former ambassador to the Hungarian Embassy. "Korea and Hungary are similar in many ways. Hungarians are the Mazal people, an Asian ethnic group living in Europe. Their ethnic origin lies in the southeastern part of the Ural Mountains, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Altai region near Lake Baikal, the origin of the Korean people. ....Unlike other countries in Europe, the Hungarian word order is the same as our Korean language..." Have a good day.

Viennese Person here! There is this place that fills a very special spot in my heart. I'ts called the "Strudelhofstiege". Its basically just a staircase, but somehow its really pretty and whimsical. There are some benches and its lit up at night and you can totally just sit there and let time pass. Right next to it is the "Liechteinstein Palais" and the "Liechtenstein Park" which are both gems in my eyes. It's kind of off the touristy route and therefore a lot less crouded. The park itself ist BEHIND the Palais and you actually have to know that and go around the building to find it. But its really peacefull and pretty there! There is a caffe as well! And HBO is currently filming IN this exact cafe for the series "The Palace". But only up until the 4th of February. So if you go there in March you could be there before it airs! I wish you a pleasant stay

As an American ex-pat living in Prague, I would also recommend venturing out of the city center. Žižkov is a great place with unique art and great independent coffee places and is about a 15 minute tram ride from Masarykovo nádraží (trams 5, 9, 15 and 26). If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Ahoj Cari! Here is my recommendation as a Slovak living in Prague for years! :) Definitely spend some time in the streets of Old Town. Typical tourist places are usually packed, but worth visiting, if it´s your first time. "Václavské" and "Staroměstské" náměstí, Charles bridge etc. Also don´t forget to check the National library! There is a fun "infinite book tunel" at the entrance. :) If you are close to the Prague castle on Malá strana- there is this secret garden - Valdštejnská zahrada, I used to work there and I love it. Really close is also Lennon´s wall, Museum Kampa, little English bookstore "Shakespeare a synové". If you would like to see some nice views, try the Metronome view in Letná (part of Prague) or Petřín. For coffee: I would recommend something outside of old town - Acid coffee, Coffe cube, Mama coffee, Cafe Letka, or something more special like momoichi cafe or funwari pancakes. But I bet you can find some nice coffee places anywhere you go. Enjoy your trip!

I really love your videos so I can't wait to see Prague, my hometown through your eyes ☺ all the historical places are definitely worth it but they will probably be really packed with tourist, so just be ready 😄 I always recommend any walk that brings you either near the river or with a view of it - so places like Kampa, Vysehrad or Letna, they're all really lovely. Our coffee scene is pretty cool as well. Hope you have a great time here and in Vienna too! 💜

Rec for Vienna: if you have any time def try "Tian", a vegetarian restaurant. Their main restaurant has a Michelin star, but if you just want a casual experience their bistro is just as amazing and less expensive. It is hands down maybe the best vegetarian restaurant in the world (their cookbooks are amazing, but I think they have not been translated). Thank you for your wonderful vlogs, I enjoy them a lot and had great fun with some of your recs when I went to Seoul last year.

Lovely video! I know I'm very late, but I have some tips for Prague as I have been there 2 times now. A walking tour on day one is the best idea as you get to see most important sights and get a feel for the city. There are usually tours for the city center and tours for the Hradschin (including some of Prague castle). I recommend doing both. For cheap food, just hop on a cable car and go 10 stations in whatever direction, and then see what you can find. I'm not sure how easy this will be with finding something vegetarian, but it should be doable. An event that I found very fun was the black light theater. They have very cute shows. A very cool place to visit is the Clementinum, it has nice art on the walls, old artifacts and interesting architecture (though I didn't really appreciate it when I was 17 lol). The best (free) view over Prague in my opinion is from the Pražský metronom. Lastly, my favorite place in all of Prague is the Park Legií to just sit and chill right at the river when the weather is warm enough.

@@lu.u.so. For similiar content like Cari I can recomend Sedameansstrong, she used to live in Korea for 6 years but recently went back to Germany. I also can recomend the channels Deana and Phil, Passport Two who are both channels of Americans who moved to Germany but they mostly speak in English in their videos (except a few things mostly by Deana and Phil since Phil is German and so might says a few thigs in German sometimes). If you understand Comedy-level German than I can recomend you Zeo, but if you need something more like "day to day"-talking as like if someone would speak to you like if you knew what they would say than I can recomend Kelly Misses Vlog (or her 2nd channel Kel's phone), Pocket Hazel (or her 2nd channel Whatthehazel), Kim Lianne is nice when you want to see random lifehack-tests and updates on new drugstore items (but I recomend her vlog-channel more called Kim Vloggt) and if you like random lifehack-tests, DIY and other stuff like this than I can recomend you the channel ViktoriaSarina. If you like cartoons than try Ruthe.de (he also has an English channel called Ruthe cartoons but he uses it not so often). For mostly shorts I can recomend Plankton (But he is a bit something for advanced speakers I would say since he bases his videos on small topics mostly on things that annoy him and other people or stuff that randomly happend to him and in his longer videos he often talks about things that happend to him when he was younger). If you like makeup content that might also be funny I could recomend you the channel Unlikely.

if your afraid of slipping and falling in snow/ice (i don't blame you, i live in utah now, used to live in so-cali, i get it!) get shoes with good traction. They may not be pretty but it will help you feel more secure on your feet in not so good weather. And then just keep an eye on shiney patches on the ground, that could be ice or black ice, and try not to walk in already really walked in slushy snow, that can also be slippery. Good luck in all that!!!

recommendations: museumsquartier (MQ) and then the neighbourhood right around there (Neubau) there’s lots of little stores and cute cafes a bit alternative and artsy :) def see and look if you can get tickets for a concert or opera or smth there’s always something going on and it’s actually quite common to go! Schloß Belvedere is my absolute must their collection is incredible. Schönbrunn has great views over vienna actually if you go up a little hill, but for parks to see i‘d say Türkenschanzpark. Also vienna is layed out in a semicircle, right? you can take the U-Bahn along it and it feels like a sightseeing-tour cause so many of the beautiful sights are along there ☺️

Vienna is classical music heaven, usually there are concerts everywhere but definately check out the Vienna State Opera and the Symphony Orchestra. And I would also recommend House of Music (Haus der Musik) which is basically my happy place in the city.

I'm so excited for you to go to Prague! I visited last September and had the greatest time!! Such kind people and beautiful architecture! There's literally so much to do! Here are some of my favorite things I did on the trip: 1. Czech beer is famous so make sure you try a local pilsner! You can get one at literally any bar/restaurant. I also highly recommend pairing it with Czech beef goulash with dumplings! Doesn't matter where you get it, but you get a hearty filling meal for like $5 it's insane 2. My favorite bars if you want some good nightlife: MoonClub - standard bar/club, super nice bartenders who will recognize you if you go on multiple nights (shoutout to Tom lol), tasty cocktails, can be very busy on weekends, cool aerial silk performances too Hive Bar - went for karaoke, stayed for the bartender (her name is Sara and she was so sweet) Berlin Bar - good cocktails, also great karaoke too Buddha Bar - fun cocktails, great atmosphere, and apparently the food is good too, it's asian fusion Harley's - an American themed bar and it was so fun but my god so nasty, just like good old American bars LOL this place gets sweaty for sure but plays great music 3. Wencelas Square, it's this huge walkable promenade up to the Narodni Museum, when I went they had small huts of food/gift stalls set up in the square, like a Christmas market 4. Old Town Square of course, it's the heart of Old Town with beautiful buildings 5. You can go up the Petrin funicular to walk around the top of a hill that overlooks Prague and the Vltava, you might some views, there's cool buildings, I unfortunately couldn't explore all of it but I feel like there's cool stuff up there 6. Mucha Museum, so many beautiful original artworks by Mucha, it's a very small museum, but I highly enjoyed nonetheless 7. The Globe Bookstore, it's the best english bookstore in Prague in my opinion, very nice employees and there's a cool looking bar in the back! I wish I went in and had a beer lol 8. Hospudka Na Hradbach, it's a beer garden at the top of this fortress/hill and offers great views of Prague, especially at sunset. There's an old cathedral nearby that looked super cool too 9. Klementinum, apparently for $7 you can get a tour of this gorgeous old library, but unfortunately I didn't have time to go! So I tell you in case you're interested lol 10. Prague Castle, beautiful cathedral - definitely go there earlier in the day as it can get packed and there are other buildings to go into within its block, I just didn't have the time to go in any of them Literally the only Czech words I needed during my stay: Hello - "Ahoy" (informal), "Dobre den" (formal) Thank you - "Diky" (informal), "Diky moc" (moc pronounced like between "motts" and "mutts", formal, like thank you very much) Good Morning - "Dobre ráno" Good Night - "Dobre noc" (pronounced like between "nuts" and "nots") *Also if you know any Russian you're golden as Czech and Russian are super similar, plus like half the Uber drivers are either Ukrainian, Uzbek, or Russian

Hii cari!! Regarding Vienna, u need to take a walk around the 7. and 8. district - the cafés, architecture and graffiti are soo nice, there are also a lot of hidden gems in that area. If you have any other questions about Vienna, I've spent my whole life there, so just hit me up and I'll try my best :))

strangely enough, i am someone who prefers to travel overseas when the destination country is in its winter period. coming from australia, anything different from our current hot humid summers is welcomed. our winters are pretty boring and without the snow that makes things more interesting. i was in korea earlier this year and was the most active that i had ever been - hiking and taking long walks through fresh powder. but i do understand that winter sadness, that lack of vit d gets to me as well during our winters in sydney.

as a Hungarian I can recommend to instead go to Lake Balaton, stuff like Siofok, Keszthely (Festetics Kastely) or Balatonfured (Tagore setany) are cute places and great to explore 1-2 days just to give you an idea and feel for the area.
