As a Korean, I’m shocked by the fact that you only stayed there for a month. Because when I first watched this video, I thought it must have created by someone who have lived in Korea for a long time with a high understanding of our culture. It’s incredible how you express your impression about Seoul for such a short time as a non-Korean.

I agree. His video is truly amazing. Indeed, the word competition is most apt to explain Seoul. The video showed the light and shade of Seoul.

perfect description of seoul how koreans lives is very bright and colorful outside but very depressed and competitive insde. i think it comes from Koreans trying to show off “at least, l’m better than you.”

Wow Brandon, I'm amazed. I lived in Seoul for 2 years and this is the best video I've ever seen capturing the emotion, visuals, all the senses of the city. It was haunting for me to watch honestly, flooded me with memories. The style of shots and music was spot on, really a masterpiece. I couldn't believe you made this as your first visit to Korea, very smart asking locals for help.

Hi Brandon, big fan here. Besides all the transitions, camera movement and editing, I am most impressed by the strangers in your scene. You have the power to turn random strangers who don't even speak the same language as you into your actors/actresses. And their acting is so good because it's all real. From other KZbinrs feedback, Korean and Hong Kong people are not very open to cameras. I know you have shared some behind the camera scenes. I would love to see more of them and maybe have some of these skills taught in your filming class. At the end of the day, I think making films is about how we see the world and how we interact with people. So far I have not seen many people talk about this aspect.
