‘스물다섯 스물하나’의 OST 제작을 맡고 있는 스튜디오 마음C에 따르면 원슈타인은 오는 26일 오후 6시 발매 예정인 ‘스물다섯 스물하나’의 네 번째 OST ‘존재만으로’ 가창자로 확정됐다.
‘존재만으로’는 일렉트로닉 사운드와 아날로그 신스, 드럼 머신의 하모니가 인상적인 곡이다. 곡 전반을 채우는 아날로그 신디사이저의 아르페지오 사운드, 빈티지한 질감의 멜로트론 사운드를 통해 다소 차갑게 표현될 수 있는 일렉트로닉 사운드에 온기를 불어 넣어주며 따뜻하고 아름다운 멜로디를 완성한다.
‘존재만으로’는 극 중 나희도(김태리)와 백이진(남주혁)이 서로의 존재만으로 힘이 되어 주는 감정을 표현한곡으로 ‘네 생각으로 힘이 나네 방금 전에 널 본 것처럼’, ‘넌 나를 빛나게 해 존재만으로’ 등의 가사를 통해 풋풋한 감정선을 이어간다.
곡 후반부에 등장한 랩은 원슈타인이 직접 작사한 것으로, 자신만의 느낌으로 설렘 가득한 곡의 분위기를 고조시키며 공감대를 더한다. 이와 관련해 스튜디오 마음C 측은 “원슈타인이 가창은 물론 작사, 랩 메이킹에도 참여하며 서정적이면서도 아름다운 곡의 분위기를 한층 더 무르익게 했다”고 설명했다.
원슈타인은 2018년 싱글 앨범 '거미줄'로 데뷔, 2020년 엠넷 ‘쇼미더머니 9’ 참가자로 이름을 알렸다. 독보적인 음색으로 주목 받으며 MBC ‘놀면 뭐하니?’의 음악 프로젝트 MSG워너비 멤버로 발탁, M.O.M의 멤버로 활동하며 ‘바라만 본다’를 발표했다. 이후 음악, 예능 등 다양한 분야에서 활동을 이어가고 있다.

My sister and I have just started this show and so far we are in love with this piece of art and because I listened to this beautiful piece before I watched the drama I kept waiting for the scene I heard about where it played in episode 5 and when it happened omg I saw the flowers bloom it was just so perfect. 누군가는 저런 경험을 해봤을텐데 정말 부럽네요. 야자하다가 편의점 들러서 친구랑 삼김 먹고.. 라면먹고.. 저녁에 같이 하교하면서 산책도 하고 이런 사소한 것들을 상상했지만 역시나 상상일뿐 이유도 없이 갈구는 애 투성이고, 학교란 끔찍하고.. 고등학교 들어오니까 갑자기 막 우울해졌어요. 전엔 생각도 안 하던 자퇴할까 라는 생각도 들고.. 나는 절대 우울증에 안 걸릴거라고 생각했었는데 사람 일 참 모르는 거 같아요. 여러모로 힘든 나날이네요. 노래 듣고 힘내서 또 내일을 버텨야겠네요.

I think they tried REALLY hard to make an original and unique k drama with heartfelt scenes and messages. From the beginning, their huge effort not to make another cliche was very present on the whole production and details carefully planned, which made it obvious for me that this was definitely going to be something else all together. If ppl went to watch it expecting a standard k drama love story where the characters fall in love for the first time, declare their undying love and live happily ever together, unfortunately, maybe, they are going to miss everything this show is really about and what it is indeed trying to convey (Not to say I don’t love cliches myself lol). *This really has become my favorite asian drama yet (and I have watched quite a bunch of them already), I’m really sad and happy having watched the last episode. I already feel like re-watching it* 😭❤️

I finished watching this drama for more than a month now but I’m still heartbroken😭I cried a lot while watching these to the point that I got fever after lol😂 But seriously, this drama is sooooo good yet so painful. The characters, the scripts, the scenes, story and ost are well thought of. Worth watching and I would love to watch it again and again.

This song is so refreshing, especially the beat drop makes me motivated and feel good about life. I wanna thank the singer and whole team of this drama that's been giving us fine soundtracks. I hope the song in 4th episode 1:03:24 was playing (when Hee Do was fixing Yi Jin's fencing costume after he wore it) gets released as soon as possible. I watched 2521 in November/December 2022, it gave me so much comfort when my mom got surgery and I had my last exams at school. I wanted to give up but I survived!!! Now it's September 2023 and even if it is my fav show since then, I never watched it again or listened to the OST. I'd like to rewatch it but emotions of this k-drama and of that period of my life have been too strong and I don't want to feel them again. But KZbin gave me this recommendation right now... I hope I can rewatch it soon with lightly. In these months a lot of things changed, I gratuated and I got a job.
