@Jiyon Min oh thank you. I'm totally fine. Just frustrated because we can't go out freely now because our region is in lockdown (again) for a month due to pandemic. And if we can, it's still scary because new cases are too high. So we have no choice but to stay home if we don't really need to go out to buy food.

Hi, Nathan! Was a nice ride! That sunset, that sky, its color, was like a spring concert! It's great to hear people laughing, to hear them sing. There are signs like a little, a little things are starting to relax. Spring is a season for good vibrations! For connection to nature and between people. Well, as a parallel, color games I suppose brought joy! Thank you for walking! Have an amazing spring, full of light, colors and life! 💜

Don't listen to the conspiracy theorist. I just spent ten months in Korea from the US and there's a vast difference in daily behaviors. Koreans wear masks everywhere, you don't have pockets of complainers and whiners refusing to wear masks. Korea has managed to stay open for the most part except for occasional restrictions on riskier activities (bars, clubs, late night dining inside restaurants and cafes) when the numbers go up. Viruses are nothing new and covid is/was a good measure as to how countries will be prepared for worse variants.
@SatieSatie3 жыл бұрын
@@user-vo2eo4cg3r Slovakia? Greetings from Austria, dear neighbour. ;) What I meant by Covid-19 management is the government's short-term and long-term strategy for handling the pandemic, keeping the collateral damage at a minimum but aiming for maximal efficiency. That also includes open, transparent communication instead of fearmongering, reliable financial compensation, proactivity instead of reactivity. Keeping your people safe. Nations like South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan and Singapour did that from the start. Their infection rates and death stats are incomparably lower despite the measures taken being substantially less harsh and less expensive than here in Europe. Which results in trust in the government, high stamina and high compliance to the rules in the population. Which in turn is reflected in the numbers in the statistics. Also, I think the computation of the infection rates is a bit more complicated than that but I don't feel like going into that now. Europe f***ed up big time and the EU _knows_ that.
@SatieSatie3 жыл бұрын
@@jimpark9253 Yeah, the self-discipline and the sense of responsibility in Korea differ greatly from the mentality in Western/Central Europe. Aside from that, the governments here did absolutely nothing for months after the existence of the virus got known. When the first cases were reported, they panicked and abruptly implemented hard measures (lockdown... yeah we love lockdowns, we are obsessed with it) from the beginning that people realistically can't be exposed to long-term. Anywayssss guys, stay healthy and optimistic and enjoy the virtual Seoul walks. :)

So many things in our lives we overlook. The wind dance of the trees. The lights weak and strong and soft and bright that shine in daylight and glow at night. The places old and new all with strong character. I find the beauty captivating and find this beauty in everything. The Korean flag in the wind made me feel pride for your country weathering the storm, strongly. The sounds you have show life and I feel much better long afterwards. I'm still in awe of the number of buildings that have their own space but share so kindly with others around it. I wonder if this is what the world is like in a snow globe. If it's turned upside down will the cherry blossoms all dance in the wind? I don't think Seoul would let the blossoms fall. Aren't they needed to welcome Spring into the homes of the beautiful people who walk their streets and play in their countryside. Thank you Nathan and Jennifer, hope you are both happy and well!!
