The. Music. In. This. DLC. Holy cow. The references to RE2, OG RE4, RE5 were all incredible. The remixes on current themes like Ada's version of the save theme, and then the original stuff! Omg we had like some goldeneye/mgs type beats in there. The music in Separate Ways was actually 10/10 wow. Whoever was in charge needs to remain in charge going forward. Incredible

Also devs don't have a hand with the musical side of things. Non of RE3 remakes teams (redworks, K2 or MTWO) worked on Seperate ways. Instead they all worked on support for the main game behind DEV1 who led the project.

Line delivery is trash like the whole work and tell line. As a VA you need to improv sometimes. It didnt help when the VA said they are only giving her crap because a real asian was voicing and not a white woman. Just proves she cant take criticism. But yea the insults and death threats are wrong but objectively true was the fact this was the worse Ada VA in RE. It seems she was hired for sole reason of inclusion and her bad Ada adapation to the recent film. No other qualifying attributes or expierence. This was her first VA gig.

Ya know I like to believe that the Infection Ada has which is caused by that other Verdugo is a reference to the one version of the OG RE4 before release the Hook man one here he is chased by a Ghost like thing that when shot has the same type of effect as that Verdugo when it gets shot also Leon was Infected with some Virus in that version of RE4 just like how Ada is Infected so yeah I believe this is a reference to that because She is Infected and is chased by a Creature that has some weird misty stuff and of course the Fog which was also a thing in that Hook man version of the OG RE4 but anyway hope this was understandable because I know there are People who are new to the RE series that are getting into it now because of the Remakes so I had to over explain a lot so they could understand but we all know those who aren't new to the series know what I mean

Finished my first playthrough on hardcore with all favors in 4 hours. Really enjoyed it, minus the very last gameplay section. For a $10 DLC, this was a 9/10 for me. Anyone who says the original separate ways was better is likely a fan of Crowbcat's RE4 video 🙂

Yeah, I decided to go back and play OG separate ways in preparation of this and holy crap, I did not remember it being so rough around the edges, it felt almost like a mod someone made in current day for it haha. I've not finished the Remake SW yet but so far I'd happily have paid $15 for it already. Only issue I've had is some of the sound mixing getting a bit weird, stuff like melee hits barely making any sound and occasional music dropouts but I can absolutely live with that.

Wow. Great structure. Pacing and encounters vs. loadout progression is perfect. That fight with the blind clawed/scythe guys was a great setup and you played it perfect! Grenade, then shotgun all the way through. Even got in a counter!. Great video!

The lines were recorded before the main game even released. But I will say there’s a slight improvement here, and it’s probably because you have more time to get used to it. She only popped in a few times during the main campaign

I've been LOVING this dlc. I already have ada S++ rank on every mercenaries map and S+ rank on separate ways standard mode. Been grinding it ever since it came out non stop so I'm almost about halfway done collecting everything if not more. Ada is bae. edit: update, i finally got S+ on separate ways hardcore mode. now all that is left to do is the professional mode and i am dreading it inside.

Awesome work and keep it up! Grinding my way through it as well now and so far I only finished it on Hardcore with a B (first time and getting everything), Assisted with only knife and gun (A) and a run without the merchant and in less than 2h. Getting the rest will be rough, probably, just like when I got it all in the base game (I STILL remember just how extremely hard Professional was sometimes, ugh). So GL to both of us

I have all the guns and all max upgraded (except one being the infinite rocket launcher), and every challenge done too except for the collect all weapons which i just need the infinite rocket launcher for. Am burned out though because i absolutely GRINDED it out for days 🤣 so I probably won't finish it for awhile. After i do finish it though i plan on filling my inventory up with as much golden eggs as i can which means a LOT of new game + run throughs will be needed

I've only watched your play through up to where I am between streams but, I am very pleased with the DLC EDIT: Ok, I came back after I finished it. I am pretty blown away by what a good job Capcom did with this. It's added all the parts that weren't in the base game from the OG, tons of little nods to the OG, amazing music, fun and challenging gameplay, all for half the price of a packet of cigarettes (in the UK the DLC was £7)

Just finished the DLC last night. I made some critical comments about it in this comment section and caught flack. I still think the first two hours sucked but after finishing the thing, I loved it. The last half of it was awesome. Fighting Saddler before he was in the spider form was also awesome. The first two black robe fights, are still trash however.

I just beat it over the weekend, and for me, it was really good. Better than the original imo. It is unfortunate that you don't get to fight Krauser here, but that's okay because U3 makes up for it imo, plus wesker grabbing krasuer at the last second to get the plagas sample. They are def remaking RE5, just going by the teases they did in this dlc. One more thing, for a dlc that's 10 bucks, this is well worth the money. 🐔✌️🤝✨️

DLC is a 10/10. On the topic ot Ada's voice; I think we can all agree, the boat ride scene with Leon is by far the worst voice acting in the game. Honestly confusing how that made the final product, the delivery was just so reading textish and theres no excusing it. That being said, 95% of the rest is just fine. I think the underlying issue is with Ada's new voice is that she's nearly a completely different character from the OG. Its similar to how Jill isnt really the same character in RE3R. Ada's voice delivery in the og was more playful, catty while still being slightly endearing. In the remake she comes off cold, smug, and her one liners are stale. Just compare what she said after killing Krauser in the og, to anything in the remake(i know different times but cmon). Leon is obviously still upset at her dishonesty in Racoon, and she doesnt really offer any type of apology to him. She almost acts as if Leon did something wrong. Not really the type of girl most would want to be around. This makes the voice acting thing seem way worse than it is.
