Good driving. pure IPSGA . and system control for bends. well done. 👍 I did not find any mistake.

At 5:40, on a quiet stretch of dual carriageway, by driving up the left side of that Mercedes and briefly sitting in his blind spot you created a wholly avoidable hazard. Not, I would have thought, a maneuver one should be displaying in an advanced driving instructional video.

I was fully aware of the Mercedes, as I stated on the video, and the other aspects of the roads through thorough observation so no hazard was constructed in that respect. If you look at the circumstances you will see that progressing any further would have reduced the gap to the car in front which would then have created a hazard. I’m happy with the video and that everything was safe and progressive

@@AdvancedDrivingTechniques I didn't even think I went to the right timestamp at first. You did absolutely nothing wrong or dangerous, think people just want to nitpick

Interesting comment, his car in theory was not in blind spot for the Mercedes, however, yea staggered formation is always better I got you point we try to avoid be in the hands of the other driver "skill level is unknow" However he was paying attention to the Mercedes he was ready for any surprise.

Thanks very much for this vid! Hope you don't mind me sharing this with an associate that rushes hazards (in particular LH turns and has a tendancy to BGOL

This is good for beginner drivers, but after a few years it's benefitial to learn heel toe shifting.
@AdvancedDrivingTechniques9 ай бұрын
The system taught to all emergency vehicle drivers maintains this technique in all circumstances. Heal toe is useful to be aware of but is normally used in race driving rather than on the roads. If you learn it and use it proficiently then I agree

@@AdvancedDrivingTechniques 100% that is for racing.

Maybe for fun. I do double clutching downshifting for fun on motorway to overtake due give more torque. my car is only 83 HP. however why I said for fun, nowadays gearboxes have synchromesh. but yea, still fun to avoid use synchromesh. and is good skill when gearbox break down. now about heel toe that is for racing.
