I have the Freewell K2 system, which is pretty heavy, so the V2 system seems like an upgrade in that regard. My big problem with all these magnetic systems, which I've run into many times with the K2 system, is they don't allow for a lens hood. I've taken photos where the sun isn't even in shot, but it had light flares and ghosting. While I love the idea of magnetic filters, I've mostly moved back to screw-on filters because they work in all situations. Sure, I could hold up a notebook or something to block the harsh light from hitting the lens, but with a lens hood, I don't have to remember since I just throw it on and go. Also, does really doesn't take that long to screw on a lens filter?

Any signs of banding on the variable ND ( the cross effect) that nobody talks about ?

How does freewell v2 compares to nisi true color vnd. Which one has less color cast
@bobmusikk5 ай бұрын
Usually polarizer takes 2 stops at max value, let's say that over that the ND is at his minimum of 1.5, so the overall exposure is -3.5 stops right? for H&Y

I have the Freewell V2, love it! But also hate those screws, wish it was just a button you squeezed down to turn the CPL/take off. Also the cap is annoying that it only works on the filter and not the base ring :/ maybe I actually hate it...

I also have those love and hate relationship with my V2... but then again I look at some of the footages it creates.

Hi! You mentioned polar pro in the video.. I'm thinking about getting the McKinnon Chroma vnd/pl. Do you also own that? If you do, is it worth the price in comparison to the freewell?
