Many of the songs from Sephiroth remind me heavily of Soul Reaver's soundtrack. Has that same sort of feel about it.

I think that this music can have different effects on people. I've always (for years now) listened to it when I was at home studying or reading. Now when I listen to this stuff I got to my "safe place" so to speak. It is especially linked with the lords of the rings trilogy and all of Tolkien lengedarium (not the movies, the books). I am happy for your success even if I don't know you ^^

@pugsly633814 жыл бұрын
omg i was listening to this and Wolftribes they sound the same... or maybe that's just me, when the cool drum like parts come in, they sound similar, listen to them back to back and tell me what you think,,, on a lighter note this band should be a lot more popular. they're songs rock
@Nobodie9213 жыл бұрын
@blutundeisen ambient music plays on one's moods. there's no distractions such as lyrics when it comes to songs such as these just atmosphere. if you're in a bad mood don't be surprised if this worsens it. definatley an acquired taste.

The malach who made this music did not make it by himself for his own glory, but he made it with the inspiration of Ruach HaKodesh for the Glory of the One that sent him drive.google.com/file/d/1e8b9Htutm_NJZ1uoSFCHuH8B7gKrecob/view?usp=sharing EDIT: Googledrive player kills audio quality. @blutundeisen Why not? I find some of it relaxing. Also, actually diving into the pit and accepting the pain might help fighting the chains that bind you. Step into your shadow, come out better on the other side.

@blutundeisen I think I see what you mean. If depressed you need something uplifting, that goes into the opposite direction of depression and gives some kind of energy. Still, I'd say it's okay for a short time if you use it in a creative way.

That is not weird actually! It is exactly the way to treat depression. It is a homeopathic principle. Treat same with the same. It would be wrong to send screaming clowns to cure depressions. Darkness can heal itself.

Where can I find more of this? If I search "Sephiroth" on KZbin or Google, I'm hit with Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy crap. :S
@WeedShaggy7 жыл бұрын
If you want something similar, there's a videogame called soul reaver. The games soundtrack is very identical to this lol.
@Smonjirez13 жыл бұрын
@blutundeisen Hmm I do not agree with you. This is just somewhat on the same wavelength as a depression so it shouldn't make things worse. If anything, it should make things better since you're not feeling alone. I know only one song that really makes one even more depressed; Combichrist - DNA AM. Look it up if you're interested, don't if you fear you might get even more depressed.
@cariko11 жыл бұрын
yeah because the name dark ambient doesn't give a clue to the tone of music you'll be listening too... why do people air their sob stories out on YT?

+zack wattenbarger although this comment is a year old I thought I would provide some clarification. Yes it is copyright infringement but even if someone tried to sue this person for it, what are they going to sue for. Sephiroth is a term as old as religions. In fact it is used greatly when connected to alchemy. Copyright protects the creator and inventor of what is being infringed upon but how are you going to protect something that could have been around a 1000, 2000 or 3000 years. So technically it is infringement but whoever came up with the word is long gone and we as a society don't even know who the first to say this word is. The tree of life is a concept almost if not older than Hinduism and Buddhism so it would not only be pointless but futile to try and sue anyone over something like the term Sephiroth. I thought this might provide some clarity.
