glenn was his friend also the first of them. its revealed seph became the team leader for glenn and his crew... glenn also a father like figure for him. so its kinda sad here they are in battle. wonder what caused the fallout?? shinra im guessing since glenn has went rogue by this time and against them. or if seph even knows its glenn under that hood. his old and first of friends... sad tho seph lost everyone he once considered a friend or close to it.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Genesis moving forward, I always loved the fact that Genesis was so flamboyant but his body and mind were being physically wrecked, I imagine degradation is like a type of Cancer. Worse on the inside then the outside, which makes me wonder if Sephiroth himself sufferred from some aspects of it? Alot of people hate Genesis but I love him! I think he's one of the series most misunderstood and interesting characters with lots of confusing mixed messages. I mean he's "supposed to have killed his 'parents'" but then he buried them??? That doesn't make sense!--Also if you play Vincent's Game you know Hojo & Shinra had mountains of propaganda and lies running rampant! Turks vs. Soldiers vs. Scarlet's Weapon factions it's like Shinra/Hojo set up the board to keep the fools pitted against each other to compete for a prize that didn't exist and thus distracted! Curse the Shinra Science Department!!

Sephiroth vs Glenn.....It's interesting to note that there was a Glenn in Chrono Trigger. He was the frog swordsman and he too wielded a masamune sword. He also had a "silver-headed" rival Magus, who was a scythe-wielder. I wonder how the fight between Sephiroth and Frog Glenn would turn out. I also wonder if Frog Glenn and Magus were inspirations to the creation of Sephiroth. Chrono Trigger was before Final Fantasy 7.

You have to consider that in the remake neither of the main character are really near Sephiroth level and am sure he fought many Behemoths in the training simulation. Sephiroth is not even at his full potential in the remake since its a body he control and he's somewhere else sleeping in a tree. So yeah for us to have a harder time fighting one while Sephiroth solo many others is not really far fetched.
