How incredibly kind for you to get gift cards for the people at the UPS store. They work so hard, especially this time of year to get us all our packages and send out our packages too. I couldn't get over how cute Mrs. Butters was in her hoodie. I absolutely melted. And then when you put the hood on her, I absolutely smiled from cheek to cheek. She is so cute! Did she wear it for very long? That was a fantastic PR haul. You got some really fantastic things. My favourite was the Glow Recipe products. Oh for crying out loud, Miss Butters is beyond adorable! I love that hoodie! Also, if a calendar has 12 days, it’s probably not an advent calendar but rather for the 12 days of Christmas. Advent season is the 4 weeks before Christmas. The 12 days of Christmas start on Christmas and lead up to the Feast of the Epiphany on January 5th or 6th, I can’t remember. And Dior's Prestige and L'or de Vie lines are fabulous! I use them both exclusively on my skin. I recently tried their new Capture Totale Super Potent Foundation and I am loving it. It is so light and dewy, has a lightweight feel on the skin and has a buildable medium coverage. It didn't accentuate my pores, either!

I love that book... it's oh so chic! The shiny paper and the black binding with the white letters has a nice contrast and is very eye catching. I want it for myself as well. My favorite model from the 1990's Michele is Kirsty Hume. I also love Nadja Auermann, Devon Aoki, Helena Christensen and Carolyn Murphy. I'm wanting to get myself the Tom Ford book too. I love his work he did for Gucci! I'm getting a full Gucci outfit next week on reserve for me that is done in the style of Tom Ford for this season.

I just recently started buying a lot of candles and now I have sort of an obsession, I didn't know that you're not supposed to blow candles out. I heard you're supposed to either dip the wick into the melted wax to put it out or use one of the candles snifters, otherwise it messes with the candles scent and also causes the black stuff to gather around the inside of the jar that your candle is in. I hope I explained it right.

Butters is just so so cute. There is something with Frenchie's and balls. My friend's Frenchie also LOVES the ball. He plays tug a war with us. That jaw strength is no joke. Oh yes, do get a coffee table just for that book, I got A Shelf for Coco Rocha's similarly heavy book and never regretted it! :D It is so nice of you when you point out how skin can react very quickly very differently, let it be the weather or ageing. I am now 100% sure that my ageing is what happened with me going from using 3 different AHAs on a regular basis, to now using none. Retrouve (not sure if I spelled it correctly) is an underrated brand, we need to talk about it more.

Just an FYI. Heard Costco Dog Calendar recalled due to dog’s getting ill. The neighbor vet posted that she was seeing sick dogs from treats in the calendar. Vomiting, diarrhea etc.
