This song was written by Igor Krutoy - the man accompanying Dimash on piano - and was originally sung by the Russian artist Alla Pugacheva. This version frustrates me when the audience applauds too soon. The beauty of the intermezzo was loosely based on one of the Ave Maria’s. Dimash asked Igor to compose an Ave Maria for him and this premiered in 2021. Igor Krutoy wrote this over 20 years ago for great femsle Russian singer Alla Pugacheva. Her version is as different as you can imagine, i found it angry and upset! Its a riddle how Dimash seems to live or have lived what these songs are about. Try his performance of Autumn Strong from I Am Singer 2017, emotional but different. Yeah, this is the perfect heart wrenching love song. Dimash sucks you into his world then carries you along like a roller coaster until you are exhausted and worn out at the end. Almost every song is an emotional journey.😂🥹😂 The lyrics are especially romantic in this song. How any woman could fail to melt, if Dimash sung this to her, would be beyond me. I think you are still shocked by the large crowds simply because you had never heard of Dimash. If he was Elvis, the large crowds would be expected. I think you need to see Omir(Life)/2023 which is a music video with his life in pictures. This will help you to see with your full heart how "big" Dimash is. The song Omir is mostly sung in a lower register and is very intimate and emotional.Omir is written and composed by Dimash.🎶🌹🎹🌹🎶 Great reaction. Dimash is always a surprise! You will never be prepared for his songs! Yeah, it is a cover but he rearranged it completely (as he always do 😂). He slowed the song down, included the soprano part and the break, and the "explosive" part at the end, so this a complete new song... 😂 I fell the same as you when I listen to this song... Yup...same. THAT is the magick of Dimash, he just emotionally pulls you in, and takes you on a journey whether you wanted to go or not. And the most magical thing about it is that he evokes this exact reaction EVERY. TIME. you hear the SAME. SONG/PERFORMANCE! For most singers, at some point, its like - "OK, well this is great; but I've heard it enough on repeat already, so it's old hat now" - RIGHT? Here is an emotional song by Dimash. Qaragym Ai. He has two outstanding versions of this, one at the 2021 digital concert and this one which he sang in an empty auditorium due to covid in tribute to one of his mentors who passed from covid. It is Dimash and a piano. You can see the pain on his face. So much emotion and so beautifully done. If I am not mistaken, the mentor is the composer of this song.
