Great video, couldn't agree with you more about Chapter 3 of Sly 3 being the best level in the series. Slight correction though; Facebook doesn't own the Sly Cooper IP, Sony does, they just let Sanzaru make a Sly Cooper game, but the Sly Cooper IP is very much owned by Sony/PlayStation.

Am I the only one who thought General Tsao was up there with clockwork? The dude was straight up evil. He was sexist, kidnapped women, put China under a borderline dictatorship, the list goes on. He was also the ONLY sly villain the gang didn't defeat directly due to him being too smart and calculating and fleeing when the situation called for it. It took the gang to stage a fake wedding and have him directly arrested just to take him down. His boss fight in the bamboo forest was amazing, but I'm more impressed by how well written Tsao is. I also love how when sly says what he's doing to panda kings daughter is evil, his response is, word for word, "She's a woman, she doesn't know what she wants". This dude was pure evil. Imo he could've been main antagonist material. Wouldn't mind seeing him return for a sequel. And props to the VA for making him even more hateable

I agree. Tsaos boss fight is also one of my favorites because it introduced a new style of combat as while part 2 of the fight being ground combat as SLY FOR GODS SAKE. the last time we got to fight a boss fight like that (At this point in the series) Was the contessa fight for the clockwork eye in sly 2.

You may already know but for anyone who doesn't the reason Sly 1 Panda King was so easy is that he was meant to be the episode 2 boss. Hence why the missions he has that are the same type as Muggshot (racing and protecting Murray) are easier than the ones with Muggshot.

The Wiki says the episodes Fire in the Sky and Tide of Terror were meant to be swamped but during play testing Sucker Punch found that players were having a very difficult time getting past the world to make it to Panda King. Thats the invisibility move was introduced in Fire in the Sky. With that move the episode became really easy.

With the heist in chapter 4 of Sly 3, the part where you have to stop vases from falling and breaking, before you could easily destroy them because Tsao wasn't around at all to hear anything, but in the heist he is around which is why you needed to avoid letting one fall over.

I actually love the carmalita mask fight, because even though the reason you had to climb her in the end was goofy and antic filled it was a very sly Cooper version of a shadow of colossus fight and I loved that

I honestly like the episode of Sly 3 in the Outback, one of my personal favorites actually. But that is just my opinion. I also have never had trouble doing the boss fight of that episode of the game either. Also fun fact, but if you watch some of the old beta footage of the first level of Raleigh’s hideout in Sly 1 you hear a piece of dialogue implying that Panda King’s episode originally was going to be before it hence why was his boss fight is so easy

I personally liked Rajan's boss battle. Since from the first game and the two episodes from the second game you only played as Sly. But when this boss happens Sly get betrayed, Bently isn't around, and Rajan insults Murray. Murray understands that he isn't smart, and athletic, agreeing with this drug lord apart from being weak, it always hypes me up to beat the shit out of him.

The reason why the Le Paradox boss fight was so short and not interesting is because of time constraints. They had to choose between concentrating more on the ancestors' levels or the final boss fight and they chose the ancestors. It sucks but I'm glad that we got so much content on the levels.

Ya know, I am fine with the opinions, but I won't lie, this isn't very explained as to WHY they are hated. If this video ever gets a revisit, I would be totally fine with you explaining why exactly you don't like the bosses in some more detail. It felt like the video went by too quick. Sly 2 is top in my favourite ps2 list but what I don’t like about sly 3 and 4 is that sometimes it feels like they are forcing carmelita in sly 3 and 4.why?like aren’t there any more police inspectors to take care of cooper gang’s business?

Personally I think Le Paradox's boss fight is the single worst in the franchise. Even if there are some that are objectively worse, at least those ones didn't have too high of expectations. But this is the final boss of the final game, and the best we could get was a bunch of painfully simple QTEs? Granted it looks cool, I just wish I could actually play it. The sheer disappointment is what really makes this bad to me. On the opposite side, I'd say the best boss in the series is Clock-La. An epic, multi stage battle for the fate of not only the Cooper gang, but the entire world to an extent. The build up is fun, being able to smack this bitch in the face while perched on her back is satisfying, and the way that the struggles and fighting continues down to the very last moment leaving both Clock-la and the Cooper gang on their last legs, it's just such a great way to finish what I consider one of the PS2's greatest games

Interesting takes. I for one loved beating general tsao's ass. They def made him a really good villain and his boss fight had some really fun mechanics. And when it comes to the black baron boss fight felt kinda lack luster. Don't get me wrong the plane battles were great but the fight on the wing was pretty boring imo.

My worst boss personally: Raleigh (sly 1) , jumping on platforms waiting for a toad to shrink is not challenging at all... To predictable, and way to easy. My best boss: Octavio, there was something satisfying about. Having a quick time event with the opera song, going to a canal chase with the boats and beating the f@#k outta him with Murray in a tar pool. Octavio was easily my best one, plus of: Venice as a map, Murray coming back to the gang and just the first place we get introduced to guard customes. And it was my first ever sly game, even though I was born way earlier than sly 1.

Yeah appreciate the clarification for the remaster. That's the version I got stuck with... the pain of the Mizz Ruby fight on that version 🤬 Also I've only gotten to the endgame for the first two games, and they both suck. Clockwerk's entire chapter in the original was nothing but pain and misery for me, and I rage quit Clock-La because I found it unfairly difficult and poorly controlled. Honestly just stick with the PS2 originals either way imo, the gameplay for the PS3 collection has all but put me off the franchise entirely :/
