@ashumssss if a lot of primers break you out, you are probably allergic to silicones. Look at the ingredients list and try to avoid products with "Dimethicone" or other "-cone" names. I don't usually use a foundation primer but sometimes when I want my skin to look perfect I've been using the L'oreal studio secrets one. I don't use it on a regular basis though. ;)

I've been using the DHC deep cleansing oil for 20 years and have not found anything else better for removing my makeup so well. I think it's so neat how it is an oil but rinses off so clean without any oily residue. It is fantastic for the skin and keeps your skin super clear. So glad you discoverd it. :)

Hey Jen. for the Japanese Pore Peeling Tsururi gel you need Blotting Paper. after you apply the gel straight away to put a blotting paper on the nose then wait it dry. it will be more easier to peel off.

I have that pore peeling thing XD!! I've bought it for awhile now haven't used it yet. Here's instruction: Apply after washing face and wipe off excess water. Take an appropriate amount (about a size of red bean for nose) onto a finger tip and rub onto a concerned area. Leave it for a few seconds. Before it completely dries, massagge skin lightly. When most of the pieces are rubbed off, rinse with water or luke-warm water thoroughly. Recommend to use once or twice a week.

the pore peeling tsururi is from the brand called, tsururi. according to what i read online in japanese, you are supposed to spread the gel around your nose, leave it on for a few seconds, then rub the area till you get the white small balls (kinda like eraser dust). yeah, so basically it is like the cure aqua peeling gel except it is specifically for the area around the nose. i hope you get the general idea :)

I suggest Strivectin-SD eye cream. I really love it - I know they have a sensitive skin version for the face cream - not sure about the eye cream. But I consider myself to have sensitive skin and I haven't had an issue with the regular strength. In addition to moisturizing - it (for lack of a better adjective) gives a little tingling feeling when you put on. I feel like my eyes feel more refreshed in the morning after putting it on. It also helps with puffy eyes

Just kinda a side note about oily skin, I have an oily scalp (I make too much sebum) so to treat it, I use oilier products (tea tree based and coconut oil) because what my Dermatologists have been telling me is that oil gets rid of oil. So before you write off oily products completely just keep that in mind :] It's probably why you like that "oily" spray!

Jen, you should totally check out Guerlain's Success Eye Tech if you're after a more moisturizing eye cream. It's been my HG for the past 5 years. It takes away puffiness like nothing else (while still being moisturizing)! My eyes are super prone to water retention and it has been really wonderful at eliminating that. My other less moisturizing options are Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Eye, SK-II Advanced Eye Treatment Film, and Clarin's Advanced Extra-Firming Eye Contour Serum ;)
@Enchanteralle13 жыл бұрын
Hi Jen! I love the Philosophy purity made simple and microdelivery wash as well. They're my HG! Although, I do not like their moisturizer (hope in a jar) 'cause it smells really bad - made me nauseous. Anyways, I would recommend the Boscia Enlivening Amino AG Eye treatment or Laneige water bank eye gel to moisturize your eyes. They're both in gel form, very light, sinks in fast, and moisturize super well. The Boscia one is perfect under makeup as well! Hope that helps!

the k-palette liner is okay.. i've been using it for about 4 months? i do agree that it isn't as black as some liners, you have to layer it to make it really black, however it does stay on my eyelid all day to when i take it off. if i'm not wearing an eye primer and i have that on my lid, my eye tends to oil up a bit and the inner corners fade off. Other than that, you look gorgeous here, so fresh and glowy! (:

I love pore peeling tsururi! I actually use another brand that makes a mangosteen peeling gel (smells SOOOO yummy!), you just wash your face and make sure it's dry, squeeze out a quarter size(for your whole face), apply it on your face, wait for 15-30 secs, and then start to gently massage in circle motion. You'll see little white clumps forming that are also taking off your dead skin :D, really gentle and effective for me, my blackheads are all gone!

Thanks for the detailed review :) I have ultra-sensitive skin and only use "cetaphil gentle skin" formula as a cleanser. With regard to the pore peeling gel, I haven't tried it myself, but the ingredient list includes mint and grapefruit extract and the pepper (and fragrance) that you'd mentioned, all of which may be skin irritants. Thanks for your input regarding the products that you've tried! Please stay well.

Also, I know Strivectin-SD eye cream is expensive - but you only have to use a very tiny bit. I bought my eye cream in July and I have yet to finish the tube (using about 2 times a day). I think I have a good couple months left in the tube. So while it's expensive - it's going to last you about 6 months

Hi Jen, you asked for eye cream recommendations. Estee Lauder has great eye creams, but on the pricier side. Kiehl's Abyssine eye cream is pretty creamy and moisturizing too. I actually switched over from Estee Lauder to Kiehl's to Clinique right now (it was a gift), and I'm very happy with it. You should just get a bunch of samples and see which one works for you.

If you add a lot of oil to your face, your skin will produce less of the oil that clogs your pores, which is the opposite of what happens when you remove all of the oil. I use olive oil every night as a moisturizer and it has helped a lot with my acne.

hey i have the same pore peeling mask and u need to rub off the mask rather than peeling it off, leave the mask for around a minute and as soon as it dries a bit, rib it off and u will get some rubber like particles. That is how the product should work. I found the product is pretty good since it makes my nose areas really smooth and shiny afterwards :) Hope it helps:)

It's such a huge misconception that oil will clog your pores. If you are using the right oils they can actually help to clear your pores and FIGHT acne. Have you tried clinique all about eyes moisturizer? I have very sensitive and dry dry skin and I can't use any cleasing foam or anything foam type which creates bubbles so I use cleasing oil and I highly recomend to people who have same type of skin like me, USE cleaing oil!! People think it would stay even after washed it out cuz its oil but actually its not, once u massage ur face with the oil for about 1min and u wash it out gently with the water, it will wash out so perfectly cleanly than cleansing foam.
