I was a crossing guard at School Lane on the Media Line - fifty-five years ago… Never bothered whether I caught a 101 or a 102 home from 69th Street because it was a ten minute walk home from either line. Thanks for showing that things are still up and running.

They retired Trolley number 101 and 103 they have been stripped of doors and all at the repair shop. I wonder what they going to do unless they are upgrading them.

Sadly it will be replaced by Altsom trolleys Altsom trolleys will replace pcc route 15 101-102 10-11-13-34-36 trolley routes by 2027

@@jcwnetwork5548 Thanx for that update. My hope is that manufacturers will again use the old PCC designs on their new vehicles. Those were the best ever.

@@jcwnetwork5548 septa noted it won’t be replacing the 15 because it’s a historic line and people want the PCC’s that’s why they have been restoring them.

The Kawasaki LRV 9000 and 100 series double and single engines and PCC2 will be replaced soon the Alstom LRV Will be arrive soon 🔜 to 2027
