I loved going to the high school rodeo in the local small town where my grandparents lived. The rodeo clowns had the most dangerous job keeping the bull riders safe from the bulls. Once, when I was about 12 years old, a bull rammed a large hole in the wall with his horn and then proceeded to climb the wall where we were sitting!!! It scared the life out of me and my little brother!!😅

I was going to ask that. Sun is bad . What if you no someone who has married same sex. But claims he loves God. Having a relationship is one thing but Marry another. What is your answer to that? He is still married.

That's not a marriage at all, as far as God of the Bible is concerned. I don't know how he can in honesty claim to love and obey God if he is not only actively practicing the sin of homosexuality, but also seems unrepentant and unwilling to acknowledge it as sinful at all. It causes me to think he has not made an effort to know and comprehend God's word, nor the gospel. Pray for him, and in lovingkindness show him the scriptures that demonstrate how destructive homosexuality is and how contrary it is to God's will for his life.

It’s not always easy to walk away from sined decisions we make here in this physical fleshly life…. Love must ALWAYS be to Our Heavenly Father LORD GOD FIRST! not 2nd after any human / pet or person at all. Only once we put first God and love him first may we be blessed to love another through GOD!! that God almighty chooses for us …. And God can not sin there for he would not and would never gift a man to a man…. Marriage and a life partner is God gift to us so we would not be lonely in our earth life to strengthen our walk with the Lord.. I pray that you can be guided by himself Holly spirit to lighten the path for your friend who is sadly blinded and lost currently 🙏🏻 God Bless You

Ps, Brett, although I love your exponential teaching, you need to *stop* vexing the Holy Spirit over one of His gifts - Tongues. Yes, the gift has been misrepresented, mistaught, and abused over the centuries but many, and too many have witnessed the worst excesses of 'swinging fro the chanderliers' and the gobboldeygook that passes for Tongues, even in these days, and causes scoffing and mocking, even from 'Christians' who openly deny the moving of the Holy Spirit and the gifts, being that 'they ended with the Apostles', and declaiming that Tongues is 'demonic'. And there is, indeed, a *counterfiet* 'Holy Spirit', the snake-like 'Kundalini spirit', a hindu demon who masquerades as a god. So, I'm not too surprised at your attitude. However, as you teach about the subject from 1Corinthians (the Corinthian Church comprising of new Christians, but ex-pagans, who had yet to learn the differences from what they were used to in their pagan temples - sexual and Bacchinalian practices - and obviously led by a weak pastor, which is why Paul wrote and visited there so much on his travels - to put out fires!), please remember that he wrote that HE spoke in Tongues *more* than any of them, which you touched on. However, he also taught that Tongues was a *private prayer language,* so the Holy Spirit could pray *through* him for and about things *he could not!* There is a *huge* distinction between what he was telling that raucous church to do regarding Tongues, and what what Tongues is *really* for - not what you said which, imo, sail very close to vexing the Holy Spirit, if not actual blasphemy -because the Holy Spirit comes as a *complete package!* He will guide and direct which gifts are activated to empower which ministries are allotted to produce whatever fruits that He wants grown in an individual Christian or Fellowship! Not us! Not you! Some never utter a word of Tongues. Some sing in Tongues. Other never stop praying in Tongues as part of their prayer ministry - even at Athey Creek - but you seem to be *putting the kibosh* on all of that! And you must *NOT!* Please just teach, not disparagingly, the uses, differences and the benefits of Holy Spirit- led use of Tongues, and be discerning (a gift and Fruit) about it. Sorry if this a bit strident, but I hope and pray that you all receive everything the Holy Spirit want, and needs, you to have, for He is the Power to live Christ in us! Shalom and Shauna Tova!

Thank you for sharing all of this! It was so good to read what you wrote about the ministry, the true ministry of the Holy Spirit and what a beautiful and wonderful gift of God it is to his body! Our precious Lord God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit, because he loves us so much! It brought to my mind the Bible verse: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Maybe you need to go back to Scripture and actually read what Paul said about Tongues in the other Epistles, bro. And ask the Holy Spirit what *He* thinks of it.
