Fiesta Texas its so great. They really are on a different level compared to the other Six Flags parks. I know the excellent theming at Fiesta Texas often predates the fact that it was acquired by Six Flags but they still keep it up (as we see here.) It seems like Fiesta Texas just cares more.

@@jillyjim5 - GA layout was always a pain in the ass IMO. The worst part is coming in and then leaving. The deep entrance basically splits the park in half. Also the rollercoasters are mostly on the outside perimeter. It's purposely meant to slow people down. It's the biggest Six Flags park in the county and they could easily add more epic coasters to rival any in the nation. Fact is it's neglected when it comes to that.

Just there for a night experience. Absolutely “night and day” experience of the queue. The fog was so thick you were forced to experience each of the special effects and jump scares in turn. It was incredible.

I have always said they should have done more to play up the haunted house theming for that ride and it looks like they finally did it! I haven't been in a couple of years, but now I definitely want to go back and see this for myself. I still think not painting the track and supports black and using a white/glow-in-the-dark train is a real missed opportunity. :)

this ride is insanely fast. quick turns that feel like whiplashes. you don't feel much air time. but it was fun to ride. I'd give it a 8/10 due to the ride does bang your arms and head

I tried this last week without knowing about the refurbishment. I loved the park and the ride (it was my 100th rollercoaster credit), very pleasant journey, I enjoyed it more than Taron and I loved the final part full of headchoppers (not very noticeable in the video)

No, haven't road it. But, it looks like a totally bad ass lanch roller coaster. This is the one thing. I like about six flags parks. They always theme their ride and have cool decorated ride cues. I wish cedar point would put more themes or decoration on their rides or rude cues.

i went yesterday and the ride operated liked to play tricks. one cart she told a girl her seatbelt was way to loose and then launched it. with our cart, she said your launch will be in 5 4 3.. and set it off at four. so fun though.

I think I rode this in 2000 and 2009. I don't think it was there in '95 (back when it was just Fiesta Texas). It's a better experience at night. Love the lighting. :)

Agreed. They could really play up a funhouse of joker theme, and of course clean it up paintwise and stuff, some neon artwork to from where you get in line until your on the ride. Not impossible, given SFA has plans to go in a new direction. Long as they just get a raptor and leave Roar alone (or work with GCI for some titan track and an inversion somewhere, I'll be happy. Ok and also at least the better trains for Mind Eraser like Riddler's Revenge at SFNE.
