Poltergeist is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. It has been open since 1999 and received a fresh coat of paint in 2009. Although the ride is considered to be manufactured by Premier Rides, the track itself was fabricated by Dynamic Structures and Intermountain Lift, Inc.
This is the newly rethemed Poltergeist with an added themed queue.

I haven't been able to ride a 🎢🎢rollercoaster🎢🎢 since my health deteriorated. I used to absolutely love Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. It was my "Home park" and we loved it! The American Eagle was one of the best ever made! So many epic rides from the Power Dive, a Space Shuttle that swung back and forth, back and forth, until you hung upside down way up in the air. People's change/coins clanging off the metal "roof". Or the Shock Wave, the head rattling coaster that sometimes could give you a massive migrane headache! The old Turn of the Century or "the Demon". Iron 🐺🦊Iron🐺Wolf🦊🐺, Z-Force, and many other classical rides. Sadly my health has deteriorated to the point where walking is no longer an option. I used to love these rides! Especially 🦇🦇Batman🦇🦇!! Oh I forgot the old Tidal Wave. Another classic!

I've ridden this ride a thousand times! Yes, it's a good one. They even have it set up where you can hear a roaring sound as you're going through the air riding it, supposed to be like a ghost sound. So cool! And while you wait you go inside the house to get on the ride and the house is real goopy looking because it's supposed to be the ghosts have taken over. Make sure to lay your head back on the headrest before the ride takes off though because it gets up to sixty mph from the start and you'll want to make sure your head is on that rest.

In 55 years of riding coasters this is the only one I got stuck on. At the very end coming in to the station, train stopped and we spent 45 minutes in the hot sun waiting to move. I damn near pissed my pants.

@@MidwestRainstorms poltergeist has the same launch speed, has amazing theming and runs noticeably smoother because of the refurbishment it got a few years ago.

For some strange reason this ride looks similar to Outer Limits Flight of Fear that came out in the 90’s at King’s Dominion in Virginia. It’s inside a building totally dark that flashes lights every now and then. Awesome ride.

I live in the area when it was built it was only the second or third coaster in the park behind the Rattler and perhaps boomarang and they needed that q. Now not so much I doubt it gets full even on busy holidays

Well the queue looked rather boring. But its pretty much a spagetti coaster just outdoors. However the definition of a Poltergeist is a noisy ghost/ spiritual creature.. so i guess making a ride based on that concept works

It's only 55 MPH. Everything in the structure is just so close it seems like it's going faster. It's a really fun ride. you should brave it. It's pretty mild.
