To be honest, it is a difficult model to create, but it is also intellectual, but I don't know if it will be compatible with every face structure. Of course, as always, Greg has done a great job and shared exactly what you need to do, but it should not be forgotten that this model is a model that requires regular maintenance. Thank you Greg.

It's certainly different Greg, to what you normally do. It's a bit high for me personally. But certainly looks clean and sharp.

Thanks Kev! I also felt it was a little too high. I’ve let it fill back out further down since then and it already looks better

It's amazing how different the results of beard shaving become for two different persons with different hair situations. Earlier this summer, I also shaved my beard down to 3mm. However, the result was far from your result, because I have a "patchy beard". To be honest, it looked like $HIt on me. I felt "neutered" in a figurative sense. 😏 With you, on the other hand, it looks very good because you have an exemplary, dense beard growth. Enviable! I then grew the beard back and shaved the whole thing down to 8mm. Then it looked very good because the "patches" were completely covered. A perfect "summer beard." Now we are again at the beginning of autumn, so I let my beard grow longer again.

Styles of beards have certainly changed a lot since the non-existent, to Kenny Rogers, for the past 40 years. All the men in my life have beards, all generations, for many decades. I think they are wonderful. I have been tasked with mom, mother-in-law, and grandmother assistance in the upkeep of these fabulous beards (and haircuts - I work in industry, I am not an educated stylish). Thank you for the insight, and also the products, to continue helping the men in my multi-generational life look their best. I have now purchased the recommended beard oil & balm to add to my next front-porch trimming Sunday events. I hope the women in your life appreciate your fabulous beard, and the fact that you have assisted all the the folks that also wish to maintain the same 🙂

Hi mate what’s your opinion on dyeing a grey beard…
@GregBoswell4282 жыл бұрын
Great question. I personally don’t want to do it. However if I was going to do anything it would be some kind of coloring meant for specific and temporary reasons. These usually wash out since they are not dyes.

Hey Greg, Just turned 24 and noticed my hair was thinning out, 2 months later my hairline is completely gone so now I’m ready to shave it bald. My entire life I’ve been the guy with a size 8 haircut that Wears Hats 24/7 so my hair wasn’t seen much anyway. I’m not scared because i understand Balding is a natural thing that is bound to happen to most men. But What Trimmer would you recommend? I would prefer to go Smooth/Short as possible
@GregBoswell4282 жыл бұрын
In the description of this video I have links to the trimmers I like and use, including electric head shavers and razors. I’d start there. Let me know if you have any questions.

Love your beard videos. I have a a short beard off and on in the past. I want to try a longer beard this time. I have a question about when you trim using your trimmers. I have always trimmed going with the grain and I see you only going with the grain. Why is that?
@GregBoswell4282 жыл бұрын
It’s a better cut and going against the grain makes it a lot shorter

A bit high for my liking, but you can pull it off whereas I can’t. Whenever I make my line to high I don’t touch it for 2-3 weeks and then all is well. After all, it’s only hair.

It looks great. I think personally if you trim it back short the neckline can maybe be a little bit higher, and have it lower for a longer thicker beard. If your hairs anything like mine, it'll grow back in a couple of days. I have a 5 o'clock shadow at 2 o'clock! 😂👌
@GregBoswell4282 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. My beard is the same way. Necklines, cheek lines, and sideburns can be tinkered with without too much worry. These are fringe areas that fill back in quickly
@brianbowen78352 жыл бұрын
I think it looks good…clean and tight. You’re a brave man for going higher on the neck/jaw line! 👍🏻 I think going higher on the neck/jaw line works for those who don’t have “extra skin” (to put it gently, haha) on their necks.
@GregBoswell4282 жыл бұрын

I would have thought that you trimmed the jawline way too high based on what I've seen from most guys out there that do the same thing. However, for some reason, it actually doesn't look bad at all on you. How is it when you open your mouth up? That's always the problem if it's too high, you end up with your jawbone being below the beard when you open wide.
