I love your “wittering and mushiness” ❤ I’ve had a difficult end to September, it was a year (28th) since my Mum passed and her birthday was on Halloween. Hi Lucy I love all of your coloured pictures they are absolutely stunning. I am colouring in seasons at the moment the frog and mushrooms double page. I have ordered the Linda Ravenscroft books 1 to 7 and the naughty faeries book 1. I can't wait for them to arrive. I am like you Lucy I feel a lot of doubt in my colouring but if I put it away and come back to it another time I feel it works out and my pictures look good. Don't feel too hard on yourself if it's not looking as good as you would like leave it for a while and come back and see how it looks with fresh eyes. Hope that helps your confidence as it as mine. I love every single page, but I think the double page spread in Hannah Karlzon was my favorite, but I do love the bright roses in your Karolina Kubikowska book, so stunning, they really pop of the page. I hope this month will be better for you healthwise, I can feel with you, I have had a bad month as well, everything hurts, I barely sleep and I am exhausted, but I keep on going. You have such gorgeous pictures Lucy. BTW, the Sennelier watercolor paint set that you have is beautiful and the best way that I can advise you to pronounce it is something like this... Sin Neal or Neil E A (Sounds like hay, without the "h") ☆Just say "Sin-Neal-E-A" all run together, I hope that helps.

This first book you've shown us about the small girls Holly Hobbie it is one of my favourites. Such a delicacy of illustrations and the appreciation we need to have to not make mistakes during the colouring. A book for expressing real feelings. Loved it 💖 I'm suspicious about electing a favourite one because the japanese ones are also amazing and your technique is genuine. Polychrome is also a brand that I prefer for using on the books. In the Hanna Seasons book all I see with those frogs is Romeo.... she says "Frogio Frogio stop croaking so loud Frogio"
