I have this Honey Bee pack of paper and love it. I really like the olive and orange, mostly because I'm not a "pink girl," but I wouldn't hesitate to use it with these papers if I found myself in possession of a bunch of pink cardstock. Your cards are always impressive. Thanks.

I think I like the olive and orange one better but they are both lovely. My craft room is pink and navy. :-) I use florals occasionally, but they are usually more on the simpler side vs. realistic florals. Thank you!

I don't love olive green and orange as it is, so navy blue and pink for me (I also gravitate towards those colours). Cute card set!

I like the olive/orange better as well. I think I would prefer the sentiment semicircle on the olive horizontal strip, In this way, more of the pattern can be seen on the paper. I also may leave the horizontal olive strip off altogether , turn the card (landscape) and place the sentiment off center on the bottom edge of bottom strip.

I was re-watching the video and I noticed that you use the bone folder to make a crisp fold in the cards (like many crafters do). Maybe a tip for bulk cardmaking: first, score your cards and then fold them by hand. Instead of using the bone folder for each individual card, just make one big pile of them, lining up the folded edges. Then squeeze the folded edge of the whole pile using your hands (I usually just slide my fingers along the whole edge while squeezing to get even pressure along the whole edge). Now each individual card has a crisp fold! I use medium-thick cardstock, and there it works perfectly and saves lots of time. I pile up usually around 20 cards at once. Not sure whether it also works for thick cardstock, but maybe worth a try!

Thanks so much for reaching out. I actually did this first however the coloured cardstock was a much heavier weight than the white I normally use so I needed to use the bone folder as well. I didn't realise there was so much of a difference!

I'm not a floral-paper fan. I prefer paper with less busy paterns, and i'm always wondering why there are so many floral papers for sale... My fav is the navy with pink card, great contrast, and somehow it makes the flowers pop more.
