September 5, 2021: "The Captain of Their Salvation" (Hebrews

Our Lord's Day service for September 5, 2021. As we continue through Hebrews 2, we see the text explain that Jesus came into the world, on this mission, as He did, because was fitting for Him to do so. In other words, once we understand what Christ came to complete, we will understand that it could only be accomplished in this way. Christ became a man, suffering and being tested, that He might become our merciful and faithful High Priest. In this way, Christ became the author and captain of our salvation. Praise the Lord!
