I've had this playing on repeat for the past two days, I love it. It has sent my love for the cello rocketing skywards and it has also reinforced my wish to learn how to play! Bravo and thank you for the music!

Daniel Delaney Oh, thanks for your answer and your help! I am very glad about it. I can't share it, I don't play the cello at all, I am only playing the viola. The song is for another person and it will be absolutely not so great like yours. And I am younger as well you guess. I will ask you when I have a problem, thank you. :) [and sorry for my bad english, I am from Germany. :D]

Listen to that soul. I feel as if i am in Louisiana You have soul, you must have a black soul.

I been learning bits and bits of this piece on the side as I work on classical pieces for school, and this is such a hard piece :P I definitely need to get the groove of this piece from my body to my cello like I had to do for Julie-O.

@Eadaoindefaoite Thanks a lot. You SHOULD learn to play. Lots of people take up the cello even as late as when they retire. It takes work, but it's totally possible. Thanks for listening. More to come!

@MrSuperCraigism I don't know how black my soul is. But you gotta play what you feel, right? Whatever that is. No excuses. Thanks for listening.

Ohhh, that’s really great!!! Well, would be amazing to learn some bow techniques of popular music, and some flourishes usually used in jazz for example! And you can be sure that I’m gonna share your videos for the world hehe

Daniel Delaney I play the cello and I was wondering if you had any tips?
@groovecelloacademy9 жыл бұрын
Kylie Bowman Kylie, this might sound lame but, practice more. Listen more. Absorb more "vocabulary" of the music you want to be playing. Listen not to the same stuff all the time but, once you've absorbed something, move on. Go practice. Seek the brilliance in others and enjoy what they do and what they have to say (personally and musically). And then go practice.
