The old EU I can remember being super excited for each new book. And The cover art was always cool. John Alvin or Drew Struzan. Or even Tom Jung. I'd go into a bookstore and come out with some books, either B Dalton or Waldenbooks both now gone. Even the bookstore I bought my New Jedi Order books and prequel books at Borders is gone. Both of the news stores I frequented to buy comics are also gone.
