Hi Nelia! A short update...I completley failed😂 Oh no, not completley...I made an Internet purchase....and canceld, I bought a Stanley Cup on ebay (which is absoluteley unnecessary) and canceld and finely I made a subscrition for an app (for weight loose) and....canceld😂 I m thankfull, that we have the 14 day cancel option here in Germany! Now I wait for all the money, that hopefully comes back to me. But its an important lesson to learn...how fast I purchase and how long it takes to cancel. But I'm on the way...start the no buy challenge again today. Maybe its normal, to start like this. My brain is craving for shopping dopamin and has to learn the changes. Have a wonderful autmn weekend, dear Nelia! Looking forward to your next video!❤

Hey Julia, Thank you for the check in was really nice to hear your process. Hey that is a win when you still have the option to return or cancel and the best part is what you said which is what you learnt in the process. It is super normal to want the excitement that comes from shopping especially when that is the norm for you. I think it is about trying where you can and not beating yourself up about the slip ups along the way. This week I talked myself out of buying a new note book like 6 times and even went to the store and took pictures of it because I still have a couple I can us but I was just excited about a fresh start and wanting to journal more often. I told myself if I finish one whole note book that I already have and build the habit first then I will let myself get the new fancy one. For me this whole choice to try to do something different it really a choice in getting to truly know yourself and step into a place that is a little uncomfortable in the hopes of better understanding and building confidence in yourself. I will hopefully share monthly checkins but school is 8 am to 5:30 most days and then I work after that so we see how well I do but happy to always chat and check in in the comments when I get the chance. Hope you have a lovely evening :)

Thank you a lot! The word you looking for is "Reinigungskraft" 😊 I really like your videos, because you are really authentic and you give me motivation! I will start to track, too! Just start two days ago. So we try this together☺️ Best wishes, Julia

What eyeshadow are you using? Always looks so lovely on you! Good work keeping track of your finances in September. Good reminder for me to keep going with mine as well, Reinigunskraft was the word you were looking for (I'm German but living in Australia now😊)

I just use some old pallet from years ago that a friend gave me in one of her declutters. Nothing fancy but I try to work with warm colours as I enjoy them more with my skin ton. Thank you :) Oh amazing hope you are enjoying life in Australia :)

sometimes i feel kinda bad for you cuz you seem like such a perfectionist. you can't know everything, you just have to learn stuff, but that isn't bad, it's just the way things are.
@NeliaRose26 күн бұрын
Yes in someways I am pretty hard on myself but over the years I am trying to learn grace and patience. Not always easy to do... also accepting the way things are means you that you accept the present and in many ways I think that is something I struggle with. thank you for the thoughts. Hope you are well :)

The big sister I never had. I'm the oldest of 8 and I'm always the one that's had to be conscious of how much i spent. But after I left home and got married. I had my own money. I went bonkers spending on all the things ive ever wanted. But now I've had that out of my system, I feel alot better saving.
@NeliaRoseАй бұрын
Hey thank you for the lovely comment. I remembered when I first started earning my own money and also bought so much stuff simply because I could. Now it is a lot better but I still have times especially when starting a new hobby when I am super tempted to shop. Being the oldest of 8 is a big responsibility to show a good way but hopefully you still get to have the freedom to be yourself as well :) Hope you are having a great weekend :)

Living in Switzerland is much more cost than in Australia...
@NeliaRoseАй бұрын
It depends on the things but mostly yes although when you work with a proper job you also get payed better in Switzerland. It is all relative in some ways :)
@luisa146Ай бұрын
What? 415 francs is about 440 euros, that's so little for rent! I live in Italy, not Milan, not Rome, just a small town in northern Italy and I spend 600 euros in rent for a one bedroom apartment. With 440 euros if you're lucky you can rent a single bedroom in a shared apartment and those are only for students
@NeliaRoseАй бұрын
Yes it is very low especially for Switzerland but you have described where I am living perfectly in your comment. I am in a share house with 12 other people and it is only for students. There is one kitchen that people can use but I am one of the lucky ones who has a little cook top in my room. This is also in a smaller town that is around 20 minutes away from the main city not central, more in the country. There are some one bedroom flats near where I live but the cheapest is around 800 frank per month but unfortunately I do not make enough to afford this. Unfortunately the rent situation gets worse and worse and people who are renting never get a chance to save so they can have a place of their own one day. This for me is the biggest dream to buy my own place but who knows in this current world. :) hope you are having a lovely weekend :)
@luisa146Ай бұрын
@@NeliaRose oh my, that's terrible then, not cheap at all. Rent is becoming prohibitive in every country. Governments should really do something about this like putting a cap to renting prices or something. We share the dream of buying our very own place, I hope you will be able to fulfill it one day! Thank you for sharing Oh I just wanted to add I remember I used to rent a single room in a shared apartment in a bigger city while I was in university and it was 240 euros a month. Prices have pretty much doubled in 10 years!
