Ah...so is there a difference between Marriage of Convenience and Forced Marriage?

@@CreativelyFaithful marriage of convenience I think is more to help someone out, like if they were meant to marry a bad guy and the good guy wanted to save her by marrying her. Or maybe for someone to stay in the country if they were being sent back to their own country, or if someone was with child and another man wanted to help her out. Forced marriage I think of as like a pre arranged marriage

Yeah September is a bit early for me to read a Christmas book. I will be ready though in November. I am excited about Buddy Reading as well! I hope to get at least 3 chapters read this week...It is going to take me out of my comfort zone though cause I don't typically read multiple books at once. LOL

11 books?!?!? Oh my dear! That is going to be a challenge! I believe I read 4-5 books last month and that was a great month! I don't think I would be able to complete this challenge. I pick out my books by the cover and then I sit down at the library and read the back (synopsis) of the novel. Those that catch my interest...I will sit and read the first three paragraphs or first chapter (depending if I have time on the library visit) and from that I choose the ones I check out. Thanks Maria I hope so too! I did combine 2 prompts so the actual TBR is 9 books but I did have a few others I wanted to read. But I will be starting the month fresh cause I just finished the book I was reading up today! So will be able to start a new book exactly on the 1st! Excited about that! I just picked up After the Shadows by Amanda Cabot. Plan on starting it today. It's on your TBR. Hope we both enjoy it.

I hope so too! I am not sure what to start today...probably In This Moment cause that will be the first one that has to go back to the library. I worked hard to finish the book I was on yesterday so I could start right on the 1st for my Sept. TBR.

Never force yourself to finish a book. I usually try to mention dnf books in my wrap ups, only to warn others of content in them. I don't count them towards my books read.
