Crazy story how I discovered this band in ‘87: walking through a K-Mart parking lot I saw this cassette tape on the gravel, picked it up and I saw it was Queensryche: I don’t believe in love as a single and I loved that song so I kept it. In the car I flipped the tape over and was this band Sepultura with Troops Of Doom single, let’s just say the rest is history 🤘🏼

Always loved the break down in the middle even though I'm not a big sepultura fan

How is it possible? Really the first Time? One of the best album of metal of this era

Would like Desperate Cry from this album infinitely more but honestly that’s one of the greatest breakdowns in metal history. You rarely bob your head and you couldn’t stop yourself during that part.

This era cannot ever be replaced. The violence of the concerts were epic at times, and the aggression of the writing is not matched in today's music. We are currently in a cookie cutter generation.

Semi Disagree. It is a legendary song that balanced thrash-death-AND groove. They are not the best at any of the three but are legends because of the way they layered their music using with rhythms in the way they did on certain songs such as this.
