Jeremy this is awesome what a great product you developed. I also have a Minilab and not yet a Seqtrak and after now reviewing multiple demos online i know i want to start working with the Seqtrak too. And this finally gives me the possibility to work with my Minilab too (as my mac died on me ) Anyway. I am not into 3D printing and also do not want too. So my question to you is. How much will it cost me to ask you to print these and ship them to Finland. Looking forward to receive and read your reply. And my great respect and handsup for your great product developement. Kind musical regards, Bastiaan

Hello Bastiaan, thanks so much for your enthusiastic response to my stand! Unfortunately, I'm not interesting in printing and selling these internationally. Besides, I am not sure how to deal with tarriffs and shipping and would guess it would be way more expensive than the items are even worth. But you should be able to find a 3D printing service in Finland which can print the files from my Printables page. Like, I found this place when I did a quick search: www.treatstock.com/c/3d-print-finland Best of luck! Jeremy

@@JeremyParkerMusic thank you for the quick reply much appreciated and i totally understand your reason why not to start selling these internationally. I do have experience with this and a simple Gumroad account or Shopify account could already work as their you have support to create an work flow where they help you setting it up for international sales. Yet its takes time away from you creating awesome music with your setup 😎✨💪, So thank you for searching already for me an option to create an 3D print model. I will contact them. Thank you for action taken and sending you kind healthy musical regards from out of Finland from a Dutch music guy 😎✨

How do you power the devices if you are using the USB port to connect them for MIDI? Thanks again!!
@JeremyParkerMusic14 күн бұрын
The SEQtrak has DIN MIDI and USB MIDI, as well as internal battery power. The Minilab has DIN MIDI and USB MIDI, but it can only be powered by the USB port. To power the setup while using only USB MIDI, you can 1) just connect the SEQtrak to Minilab with one USB cable and use the SEQtrak battery to power everything 2) use a Power Delivery USB-C hub that can power both the SEQtrak and Minilab and allow MIDI simultaneously.
@dab900014 күн бұрын
@ what do you do for your setup? Do you have a hub you can recommend? Thanks
@JeremyParkerMusic13 күн бұрын
@@dab9000 sometimes, I just use the single USB cable between and battery power from the SEQtrak. I have used this hub before as well: a.co/d/0BZw5a7

Would you please give us an amazon link for purchasing the magnets? And how are you fastening them to your printed stands? And lastly, what material do you recommend for printing the stands? Thank you very much. Very nice.
@JeremyParkerMusic22 күн бұрын
Yes, all that information (links for magnets, etc.) is in the Printables link. The magnets simply press-fit into place. You're welcome, enjoy....

I do have a question when a loop or sound is created can it be uploaded to a daw for use in a final production? and if so would it just be via audio interface?
@JeremyParkerMusic3 ай бұрын
The SEQtrak can act as a USB audio interface, which you can access with any DAW, but it doesn't break out tracks seperately, so it's just a 2-track stereo mix that you'd get. You could mute tracks and record them in one at time though and send MIDI to the DAW as well. Maybe they'll add a way to bring 'stems' into a DAW in a future firmware update?

Great stand, great video, great channel! How much would this cost to print at a shop that does this kind of thing?
@JeremyParkerMusic4 ай бұрын
Thanks a lot! I'm not sure to be honest, as I haven't used one of those services, but I would think it would be pretty cheap based on the pieces being pretty small.
@JeffQueenProductionsАй бұрын
What is the cable you are using to connect Minilab and SeqTrak? Does that allow you to go into a DAW with both devices being recognized and Minilab able to control the DAW AND SeqTrak? I am having to go direct to computer (not through a hub) for ST to be recognized by Live so not able to plug ML into ST via USBC.
@JeremyParkerMusicАй бұрын
If you want to be standalone like in my video, you can use a single USB-C cable between the Minilab and SEQtrak, but if you want to connect to a computer then yes, the SEQtrak needs to connect to USB-C to the computer. (It can connect via DIN MIDI to your computer but you'd lose the SEQtrak desktop app integration and you'd need a MIDI interface for the computer). If you want to use a DAW instead of SEQtrak as your MIDI sequencer, then yes, you'd have to also connect the Minilab to the computer, at least with DIN MIDI, or with USB-C into a 2nd USB-C input on the computer. Then you'd have to do the MIDI routing between the Minilab and SEQtrak in your DAW. The Minilab needs power over the USB-C regardless.
@JeffQueenProductionsАй бұрын
@@JeremyParkerMusic thank you! Do you have any resources / links on controlling the SeqTrak through a DAW and/or a template/script to control via a direct connection from the MiniLab 3 to the SeqTrak? Curious to how you (or anyone else here) control the SeqTrak with the MiniLab? Synth control (channels 8,9,10) I would guess for sure, but other stuff such as FX or using the MiniLab Pads vs. the SeqTrak pads etc?
@JeremyParkerMusicАй бұрын
@@JeffQueenProductions I have another video on the SEQtrak/minilab where I briefly get into it, but basically the minilab can be used on the associated midi channels for the SEQtrak, with pads being mapped to the drum tracks, the keyboard to the synth channels and knobs to whatever MIDI-controllable parameters. There a bunch of videos on YT on how to use the minilab and set it up, including from Arturia. But rather than inserting a DAW inbetween the minilab and SEQtrak, the most common use is without a DAW, with the minilab connecting to the SEQtrak with DIN MIDI or USB-C. Then all the sequencing features of the SEQtrak become available. And again, there are many videos on how to use the SEQtrak, I just think the minilab makes it a lot easier to play in keyboard parts, and tweak things for live performance.

Love this and thank you for posting! I don't have access to a 3D printer and would love to purchase one (actually 2) of these stands - I live in the US, would this be possible?

Thanks @JeffQueenProductions ! There are a bunch of online printing services if you do a google search, and you can send them my print files / printables link. If you have any so-called 'maker spaces' with 3D-printing in your area, they likely can help as well. If you really get stuck, let me know, but normally I don't sell prints myself.

Noob question here. How easy is it too hook one of these up to a midi keyboard? None of the reviews I've seen of the Seqtrak really go into how it networks with other devices.
@JeremyParkerMusic28 күн бұрын
I have another video here on my channel that touches on that. It's pretty easy to use a MIDI keyboard with the SEQtrak, it's mostly a matter of choosing the right channel for whatever track you want to control. Then if you want to get fancy with mapping knobs/faders, then you use the MIDI controller's configuration to choose the correct MIDI cc numbers. The minilab has an app that makes it easy to assign the correct MIDI cc numbers. To find out what can be controlled on the SEQtrak, look at "17.3 MIDI Control Change Parameters" in the manual.
