Some tools are precedence diagramming method, dependency determination and integration, leads and lags, and project schedule network diagram. The S-F relationship in the precedence diagramming method can actually be about sunsetting - many times a client was uncomfortable in expiring its homegrown system without the new solution going live. Thus, the project wouldn't be complete until the start of new software implementation to the end of old software sunsetting. In a project schedule network diagram, leads and lags should not replace the basic schedule logic.

Activity Scheduling is not just only planning the sequence of activities but it is more importantly the process of IDENTIFYING and DOCUMENTING the RELATIONSHIPS between the activities. See picture. Outputs of Define Activities process(meaning: Inputs of Sequence Activities process) Activity attribute Activity list Milestone list etc Ye input output ka chakar kia h??? ye input output hum is liye parh rhy hen kio k uper jo points bnay hen, THEY PROVIDE THE BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ACTIVITIES. ‘Activity list’ contains information about all activities of the project. ‘Activity attribute’ contains information about the relationships between the activities(meaning: which activity depends on which one). And it also contains information about which activity should come first(predecessor) and which activity should come after(successor). Jis trha pichly step Define Activities ki kuch outputs thi, Sequence Activities ki b kuch outputs hon gi. Output k liye, Gantt Chart ho skta hy, ? Ho skta hy, ya most importantly, NETWORK DIAGRAM ho skti hy. NETWORK DIAGRAM is of course the most important output of this process which is created with the help of above mentioned inputs. And this diagram shows which activities depend on which activities. And which activity is a predecessor(pehly any wali) or successor(bad me any wali) of any given activity. Note: Firstly, you created a list of all the activities of the project in the previous(Define activities) step. But while drawing the Network Diagram you may find that you had missed some activities. So now you will update the activity list. So, now the ‘Activity list’ also becomes the output of this process.
