Firstly thanks for the videos, Unlike in the given example, If Sn=42996794 or 42996796, then the units place is 4/6. Then should we go on calculating the powers of 4(If YES, it is time consuming) or is there an other technique to check if the given number is in series. Please suggest.

@@andrewchan7927 If you look at 3 to the power of 8 you know it ends in 1. If you then multiply 8*4 you know that 3 to the power of 32 ends in 1, to reach 36 you simply add 4 more. I hope this makes sense.
